I could not resist this topic......
I believe and so did my friend Ray Traylor who went to be with GOD on September 23 2004 and is no longer physically here with us in the now.

)We both thought that a good way to attract BIG business would be a
Cultural Arts/Civic Center/Gymnasium Complex similar to what Smyrna
has would be a GREAT start!
Not only would the locals.... US Paulding County Residents Benefit.
"You Build It They Will Come" meaning = (Outsiders = All Others)
That is why a few of us have started a petition for Paulding County
to build a Cultural Arts/Civic Center/Gymnasium Complex.

Just because you do not have employee's does not mean that you do not have to have Worker's Comp coverage.
(state of Ga: 3 or more eployee's require Employer to carry Worker's Comp
on them)

It all depend's on what you are trying to accomplish.
Insurance in any form is for the Insured's protection.
(Or the one's they love)

General Liability Insurance covers other people's property you are working at.......
Worker's Comp covers you while you are working at someone's property.
Each occupation has a certain class code and each class code is rated differently
Ex: cleaning service rate is 8.55 (rate is per 100 dollars of payroll)
You can exclude yourself and still obtain a certificate, however, by doing this you also give away you rights if you are injured. In other words by excluding one's self you have no recourse if you are injured on the job.

I think it is a shame for county employees not to be encouraged to frequent Paulding.com.
It would be nice for the powers to be to recognize Paulding.com as a valid way that people in the community communicate.
I am also curious as to why the various county offices do not utilize this site like they do "Dallas New Era" "Paulding Neighbor" maybe if they did there would be more community support.
