How much butter and oil are you using? Pecans will dry out a cake... You should be using 2 cups of butter and maybe a half cup of oil...or add some pineapple or apricot sauce (a little bit).
It calls for coconut, I don't like it. Thanks for the tips.

Hey Cheffy, Have you ever heard of a Ga. pecan cake???? I got the recipe from my dad about 8 years ago, I only make it for Thanksgiving & Christmas, it is some work! I would like for it to be a little more moist, any suggestions?

Hers is gonna come home with a mohawk. And play-doh....lots and lots of play-doh.
My sister and I have sort of a sibling rivalry, but in a loving way. She's scared of clowns, so I post clown stuff on her myspace and around her room. She messes with my kid. Last time they were together she loaded her up with pixie stix and cake, and giggled as she dropped her off.
I definitely can't wait until she has youngin's. there would be a freaky killer clown standing outside her window late one night
