Best advice I have heard!!!!!!

BB evidently you think you know who I am. Wrong again! Wait and see. When the sports complex is finished you will see more and more hotels going up in Cobb and Bartow county near there. If anyone stays in a hotel here in Paulding County that are visiting the sports complex it will be far and in between.

BB, I to was very involved in sports with all my children and you and I both know that people try to get hotels as close to the event as they can. No one is going to stay in Paulding County that are visiting the sports complex. If that is your reasoning, tell it to people that don't know what your talking about.

Some sort of investigation needs to be done. I didn't know about the real estate agent. I think that is a conflict of interest and even unethical. Looks like everyone has had their hand in the pot. That really pisses me off and it should piss any tax payer off. Anyone thought about getting a investigative reporter on this.

I think AGL had some funds to do that but I was under the understanding all that money has been used but he is right, you will never know unless you call. I know we were told one time if several of the people on our road would agree to tie onto the line they would run the it for free. Unfortunely we were the only one wanting it so we went total electric. Propane is just to expensive. My son is building and he is going total natural gas. Heat, stove, hot water heater and grill.

I just had my son look it up on his map. He works for Atlanta Gas. If this is the Aiken Place that runs off of Windale, there is no gas line down Aiken Place. He said if the house is on the corner of Windale and Aiken Place you might could get gas because a line runs down Windale Road.

BB, you seem to not understand. Anyone can pick up a phone and they can tell you anything when its a one on one conversation, but will it be the truth. I thought you were smarter than that, being you have worked for law firms all these years. Why can't they show the resident's of this county their plan in writing. They can't because they either don't have one or they don't want it seen. I hope its because they don't want it seen, because if they don't have one, can we say poor business management.

The county does not push the issue with truancy at all. I know a family that their two children miss more school than they go. Most of it is because the mom is to lazy to get them up and on the bus. The children have been held back and the youngest it took several tries to pass the first grade. The youngest missed so much at the end of one year the school had to dis-enroll the child from the school and mom had to re-enroll him the next year. I thought the parents could be charged but I don't see anything being done about it.

We are know Delta is involved, that is old news. That is what pisses all of you off. The county wants their fight to be with someone they can drain of all their money and the person give up, isn't that the way our county attorneys play their games? It has been proven with them. Sad that they care so much about the residents of their county that they would do that to them in order to get their way. Pubby, this airport thing has become ridiculous on both sides. I for one do not want it to become a commercial airport but I will not pass judgement on people that are for the airport or not. I have been to some of the meetings but was not able to attend the hearing this morning. I have raised my grown children here in Paulding County and they are raising their children here also. I don' t think the BOC or the airport authority handled any of this the way it should have been handled. Concerned Pldg Resident you can come on here and say all these things to people because you disagree with them but you won't say what business you own in Paulding County. If you feel you are so right about what you say and that there are more people for the airport than against it, it shouldn't matter if we know what business you own. There you go getting upset again typing in all caps. Take a deep breath and relax. I said Marta will bring low income housing and crime. You are the one bringing the race card into play because I never said anything about race. The last time I checked low income housing doesn't practice discrimination, so with that being said, I think there are people of all races living in low income housing.

LPPT have you looked around in Clayton and Fulton County lately? Anyone that thinks Marta will not bring low income housing is crazy. Yes a lot of folks use Marta for work but I bet if a survey was done you would find the marjority of Marta riders are folks from low income apartments who don't own cars. I have a friend who use to be a Marta Police Officer and I've heard the stories about what happens on Marta.

Really Concerned Pldg Resident? You are so making a joke out of this. If the airport becomes commercialized I hope it becomes a success but I think we will all see it become nothing more than a money pit for Paulding County. You will see people start to move away from this area and you will see even more vacant and foreclosed homes. Those that sit on these boards that are pushing for the airport, I bet if the ones that live in Paulding County were ask, do you intend to continue to live in Paulding county ten years from now, and they answered truthfully, the answer would be NO.

What has Delta funding the other side got to do with them needing so many attorneys? Does that mean since Delta is involved their one attorney was a threat to Paulding County?

I hope if the airport becomes commercialized we do see the things your saying Beach Bum but I don't think anyone that has really thought this through with a open mind believes that. What I saw today was more attorneys on the counties side than what was needed. But oh well, who cares the county was paying them a good salary for Saturday work right?

Your right, go meet these people and get involved because some of you will finally see where your tax dollars are going. That is something we all need to be aware of. Sit back and listen like I did and form your own opinion. Like me, I think you will be surprised. Go in open minded about what is best for your county and your family because if this is where you intend to live, you should want the best for both. I think some of you will agree the airport is the way to go, but I think a lot of you will change your mind and agree we don't need commercial flights in and out of Paulding County.
