you should read it makes me shake my head at some.... but yes the kids are being charged with felony eleven of them are 18 years old and some 17 and some 19 they did not even go to the school they had already graduated. (the 19 years olds)

I have to disagree with you to point on this one you can be the best parent possible, you can be 100% involved in your childs life... but there comes a time when a child makes a choice that you as a parent can not control. as a parent all we can do is teach our kids right from wrong.. and hope when the time comes they make the right choice. parents can not be held accountable for their kids all their lives.

seriously??? seriously??? you act like these were elementary kids and they did not know better.. and they should not be held accountable for what they did... don't try to blame the school or staff for the stupid choice these kids made.. and these are not kids... age wise they are young adults, they may not be acting like it.. you blaming the school is like trying to blame the parents for the choice they made that night..

Because of the age of these Young Adults and that is what they are, they are not considered kids... but because of their actions I would not consider them young adults either.. they will probably be charged with felony if so I hope it was worth it when they look back 5 years from now and realize how hard their life has been because of the Felony charge...

In all honesty misty it is hard to say what we as parents would do.. Fortunately i have never been put in that situation and i pray I never am, we have always told our boys, if you make a choice and you know that choice is a bad choice when you make it, then do not waste your 1 phone call to us.. knowing something is wrong and still doing it is not a get out of jail free card to us.. Your kids are still young, and right now it is hard to know what you would do when they reach that age of 16,17,18, let me ask you this... how many times would you get them out of jail? hire lawyer? w

Actually both of my boys would probably beg to stay in jail instead of coming home to face the consequences at home..

I rode by the school at 10 this morning and the news was there on side of the road...
