You are confusing protestors with rioters. There is a distinction between the two. Rioters are by no means the majority. Not even close. If that were the case all of Baltimore would have burned to the ground. How long can the dead guy's criminal history be? He was 25. What does his past criminal history have to do with being arrested without probably cause? So if the police officers have a history of police brutality can we bring that in to play also? You're bringing this guys past into it surely that means bad cops with a bad history should receive equal consideration of their pasts.

Foxmeister already posted a link reflecting the number of single white parent homes is close to 3 million more than the number of single black family homes. That may be a bad ratio as far as population to single parent homes but the comparison for ratio of population to deaths while in police custody is problematic too.

Innocent until proven guity? As bodies pile up, is that what the police officers believe wile doling out street justice? What we do know is the guy died in police custody and he should never have been arrested in the first place. The police didn't have probable cause to arrest him or have him die in their custody.

So then how many wrongful death cases must go on without charges against corrupt LE? If not for the unrest there would be no charges filed just as in the numerous cases before this one. If a person is "black", where on the globe would you say he is? Are you equally offended by "Irish-American", "Italian-American", Polish-American", "Ukranian-American", "Jewish-American", "Mexican-American, etc.? African-American gives roots and heritage to people who have had them stripped away. It gives self-identity and self-esteem to the disenfranchised. It's hard to demonstrate when you are DEAD. Had he lived you think he wouldn't be demonstating at some point? His family is demonstrating in his stead. People can pick up prescriptions elsewhere. Do you happen to have a spare life lying around for the dead to pick up? If lives were valued in the first place the store would have never been attacked.
