Here's a recipe for lemonade that gives the measurements for the dried powered leaf. If you try it please let us know how it works: Fresh Stevia Lemonade by Michelle on May 17, 2009 Since we’re all going to need ways to cool off this summer, I’ve found an easy (and healthy!) recipe for fresh lemonade. You only need the few ingredients listed below: 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from approximately 6 lemons) 1 cup water 1/2 teaspoon stevia extract (white powder) or 2 TBSP powder stevia leaf It works best to put all of the above into a shaker container and ... http://www.o

I want to make some of these and thought someone else might want to, too: Fresh Fruit Infused Water By Karen Frazier Fresh fruit infused water is a refreshing and light non-alcoholic summer drink. About Fresh Fruit Infused Water Water infused with fruit or vegetables has its roots in Spanish cuisine. It is also known as aguas frescas. The flavor is light and delicious. It is not quite as heavy as a juice, but not as plain as water, either. Fresh fruit infused waters are easy to make. Slice up some fruit (or veggies or herbs - but more on that later), place it in a pit

Here's the recipe from the blog. She uses only a small amount of the concentrated type. What kind do you use? I saw an interview of a woman who owned one of the fruit flavored water companies. She originally started putting sliced fruits (like strawberries) in a pitcher of water and putting it in the refrigerator to chill so that's another idea.

How long has she lived with you? What kind of influence is she on your daughter?

I hope you can find some ways to reduce your stress. I know it would benefit you. The author of the book, The Healing Code, talks about how stress makes it harder to focus, think clearly, and see some options plus all the health problems it is connected to. Does your ex-husband help parent your daughter?

I'm not blaming anyone. LPPT said that teens are "babies." I feel a different attitude is healthier for both the parents and the teens. Have you asked her why she would do something she knows is wrong?
-
I am glad you discuss things with them. You said teens are "babies." Infants are babies. Teens are less mature than adults, but they need to be given opportunities (when appropriate) to develop more and more self-confidence in making decisions. I had parents that were mostly over protective so I speak from experience. Also, some parents (don't know about you or Lucky64) see age 18 as some magical number and it's too much like parents who used to throw their kids into a lake in deep water to teach them to swim. Looking back I remember that around the time I graduated from high school my

It doesn't sound like you have any faith in teenagers' abilities to choose their actions at all. I think it's more than hormones and energy---and that it's best to keep an ongoing dialogue. Yes, I would ask her why. Learning to connect actions and reactions to feelings can only help. I still remember the way I thought and felt about certain things as a teenager. LPPT, so you don't remember why you did anything as a teen?

A full more complete report is expected in a few week: Houston full autopsy report to offer more details By ANTHONY McCARTNEY LOS ANGELES (AP) — Whitney Houston's full autopsy report may offer more clues about whether the singer suffered a heart attack before her drowning death, officials said Friday. The full report, which is expected to be released in a few weeks, may include test results and physical descriptions of the singer's heart that will show whether she suffered a heart attack, Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said. The report is being compiled and Winter said he di

Multiple factors contributed to her death: Drowning killed Houston but drugs took high toll By ANTHONY McCARTNEY | Associated Press – 2 hrs 49 mins ago Drugs took many things from Whitney Houston — her pristine voice, clean image and her career — and coroner's officials revealed Thursday that cocaine also played a role in the Grammy winner's death in the bathtub of a luxury hotel nearly six weeks ago. Houston drowned accidentally at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 11, and autopsy results revealed heart disease and her recent and chronic cocaine use were contributing factors.

You're welcome. From what you said you went beyond simple punishment and you both discussed "what we didn't like, what makes us uncomfortable, and what we can do to change it," which sounds like what Dr. Greene says here:

I just thought I would post this as a resource. Has anyone read any of Dr, Ross Greene's books? There are several listed on amazon.com/. My Mom lives in another state, is retired and has lived alone since my Dad passed away 8 years ago. I phone her each evening and we talk about different things. For years we each watched Monk on Friday nights and then we would talk on the phone the next day about the episode; anything we thought should have been done differently, etc. She likes to watch investigative shows mostly, Dateline NBC, etc. One day she said that she wondered if anything good was going to be on that night. (She used to subscribe to TV Guide but doesn't now.) I told her I would look online and see. So now she likes for -

Thanks for sharing. That must be stressful for you. I've heard of that. Some of the things featured on the show I haven't---like the woman growing her nails so long and a girl drinking nail polish, etc. Like I asked in my first post; on the shows are there any therapists that offer any explanations?
