  1. There you go making an ass out of yourself assuming I'm voting for Braddock. I've been saying all along I that I'm not voting for her or Avery. I've been saying all along that I don't care for either Barnes or Deal. I have said I'm very seriously considering voting for the Libertarian. I've been complaining a lot how pathetic political campaigns have become with their focuses not being on the issues the voters find to be most important. Instead, it appears they would rather stay away from the issues and participate in character assination instead. Perhaps they're too damned stupid to think of solutions to problems and find it easier to just use buzzwords and lie.

    The Point.

    Your Head.

Even funnier is the first line....considering you are ALWAYS the one to bitch and moan like a school girl about insults on this board....every time I give you the benifit of the doubt you prove me wrong.

  2. You friggin' hypocrite. You been trashing Braddock's integrity as if integrity is a key quality you demand in anyone running for public office. Now you turn around and state you don't care if Barnes (who you claim to support) lies and misrepresents the truth. Holy crap! You obviously don't really care that Barnes lacks integrity. Yep, you're definitely a hypocrite.

You once claimed you had such high moral integrity that you would fire your doctor if he cheated on his wife even if he was curing you of cancer...yet you have no issue voting for liars and folks that attempt to hide arrest records from the public? Guess you are in the same but as feelip.

  3. She was arrested, not convicted of any crime!! When is everyone going to put the right information on here??

If you are arrested, and not guilty, do you except a punishment for the fun of it or do you use your "millionaire next door" bank roll and fight the false charges?

or....if you are arrested for domestic violence do you just get your attorney to draw up a condition of divorce being that the charges are dropped....of course no husband is going to say, no press charges but lets stay married compared to getting rid of your pschyo self.

I'm disappointed, both you and Medea usually have more common sense then this.

  4. I am so sick of dirty politics!! I hope everyone here realizes Mrs. Braddock has children that go to school. I hope you are very proud of the way you are helping Will Avery.

I hope to goodness you don't ever p*ss off a policeman or a neighbor and have your mug shot taken. The way some of the attitudes are here, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

I cannot wait til November 3, and no I have not yet voted. I learned my lesson during the primary. I'll wait in line, the old fashioned way.

This entire thread is as ridiculous as the one I started.

She didn't piss anyone off...she commited a crime, was arrested and admited guilty. If she was worried about her kids she shouldn't have put herself in a spot to be arrested in the first place. I'm sure the domestic violence charges were REALLY good for her kids.

As for helping Will Avery, Duh. Oh is that any different then those that support this clown helping her?

  5. Yep, the law of unintended consequences is working.

I am now voting for Deal instead of Monds solely

because of this disgusting and dishonest attack...

Thats all it takes to change your mind? Really?

So if he was running against Satan and attacked Satan you would vote for Satan?

  6. Wow. Very insightful. That really added to the conversation. /s/

We face choices similar to what we had in November 2008. The assumption that it's the "R" and "D" is becoming asinine. Can't you simply entertain the idea that folks choose the candidate whose voting record is most in line with what they would want?

I could if people's comments actually backed that up, for the most part it's the R or the D from what I can tell. Jesus himself could run as a D and a lot of folks around here wouldn't vote for him for that reason alone. Nothing wrong with that, but it sure isn't going to fix anything.

  7. I went on the secretary of state website and was reviewing all candidates on the ballot and the amendments and that John Monds just baffled me when I looked at his Occupation and it said "Homemaker" just unbelievable.www.sos.georgia.gov/mvp

Why is it unbelievable? His wife works outside the home and he raises the kids. Would it be "unbelievable" if it was the other way around? One of the parents is raising the kids instead of a daycare - nice to see in this day an age IMO.

  8. Maybe for you personally. I do know of instances where pleas were taken in the best interest of the family and for the sake of not bankrupting themselves. It is not a conviction.

Just saying that your blanket statement is not always true and unless she told you that specifically can not be taken as fact.

This was a small time charge. Fighting it would not have bankrupted her after all at this time she was a "millionare next door", and the sentence would most likely not been any different then what she got as a plea. She was guilty as hell, but if you trust her with your money feel free - I sure wouldn't.

  9. If she was not guilty she would not have made a plea deal which is what this is. If you are innocent you fight it in court. Wake up people, you are being suckered and will live to regret it. This women was a clown when she ran for the school board and is a bigger joke now. It is flat out embrassing to conservatives that people will defend her simply because of the party letter next to her name.

  10. I really don't care about your arrest record or lack thereof. I personally have never been arrested or been in any kind of trouble.

As for the comment on "you and I aren't running for public office are we"? Please take the time if you wish to read my prior post as that issue is addressed.

...but i would hope you care about the arrest record of the folks you want to represent you in gov't. especially when that record involves fraud. fraud is not an accident or mistake, it is a delibrate act that takes thought and planning. she can say what she wants but she for all intesive purposes plead guilty to that charge.

as for the prior post I was typing my response so I didn't see it, but i must disagree. if we the voting public should not base part of our vote on ones "less than desirable" past actions what should we base it on? there are some very intelligent serial killers in our prison system that i have no doubt could put together a campaign of great ideas - but I wouldn't vote for them.

  11. Easy for us to sit back comfortably in our own little worlds and condemn others isn't it? You nor I or anyone else in this world is perfect and we all make mistakes - might want to check out your thread title.

you and I aren't running for public office are we?

not sure about you but I don't have a single arrest record, let alone TWO for very delibrate and calculated actions.

  12. Raise your hand if you have been arrested but not prosecuted....

    I'll be no. 1.

Raise your hand if it was for a form of tax fraud and you now want people to trust you with their tax dollars.

You have to extend grace sooner or later. None of us are perfect. I really don't know anything about the candidate, but I do know that we have to fogive and move on sooner or later or we become bitter old men. Just look in the mirror.

Forgiveness is not the same as forgetfullness and not looking at the past is what got this nation into the mess it is in. You can foregive someone without setting yourself up to take a fall based on their prior actions.

  13. He is one of the top stock car drivers in Nascar.

He doesn't even scratch top 5 drivers when you factor in other types of racing.

He is an ass and although I was a fan at first I saw the error of my ways and would never root for him.
