  1. Thank you, PSD And, I love you too, KRM. Thank you  .
  2. I'm sorta flattered. I didn't realize that I had such die-hard fans...I feel just like Jodie Foster.
  3. Thank you so much. We have a solid foundation and are still building it. His and my family have a long history together. He knew and loved my Mother who passed away 1 1/2 years ago, and that means a lot to me. I don't want him to change a thing and he doesn't want me to change either. We know we are both imperfect but we accept that. Thanks again for your suggestions and kind words.
  4. Thank you, KTR. I think so too. When he came home from the Navy MANY years ago, his Dad told him I had gotten married and he said he regretted not scooping me up first(we didn't ever date...just friends). His Dad told me what he said. I thought it was kinda sad but really sweet and never forgot it. Then 17 years later, he DID scoop me up! FINALLY!
  5. I had no idea you were so captivated with my life. I don't mind, though. I have pictures on FaceBook of a few guys I've dated. Pictures are taken to remember things, right?
  6. no, not at all and its been a couple months. we've known each other since I was 12... . This shouldve happened 20 years ago, we both agree.
  7. wow ! Thank you SO very much for the fantastic ideas and even more for the kind words...makes my day. I am LOVING the Berry College idea! I am going to look at every single place mentioned though. Thanks again. I REALLY appreciate you all taking the time to post places, links and phone numbers too! You all are just wonderful! Thnx! If I have NOTHING else, I am having a sting ensemble. I'll take a look!
  8. oh no, Madea. I'm in LOVE!!!  What a beautiful place!
  9. YES! I do, I do, I do! The smell of freshly brewed coffee EVERYTIME! The sound, smell and feel of a roaring fire. The sound of church bells ringing is hands down my most favorite sound in the world! And, to see a dog swimming and geese flying in a "V"...ahhhhhhhhh! Those are what I live for! The sound of my sweet Mother praying cannot be matched, though.
  10. Thank you all SO much for the ideas! I have NO CLUE! I am gonna look at each one. Keep sending ideas, please. I DO love Red Top and had thought about it already. It's a good option. I did find my dress today though so that will actually help with finding the location(only you females will understand that)... ...oh, shoot! Guess I just "outted" myself as the bride .
  11. only about 40-50 people and something not crazy-expensive. No further than about 50 miles in any direction. Simple is better and a natural, hippie-sorta setting is best . Okay, sooooooo...whatcha got?
  12. I went this weekend and go almost every year and look forward to it months before. It WAS hot and that was a little disappointing when your heart is set on hot, apple cider and funnel cakes. But, who could help that, though? We went after church and on the way we passed a LOT of backed up traffic of people who had gone early and were heading back to Atlanta. So, I think going a little later was better as far as the crowds. On a high note, I fell in love with a necklace there last year but just couldn't bring myself to spend THAT much for it. I have regretted not buying it all year. Headed s
  13. FANTASTIC! I absolutely love the theatre and every event I've been to there has been great. The atmosphere and ambiance are perfect everytime. Can't wait til the next show. Thank you for maintaining such a jewel as this!
  14. too true, too true. But, overall I'm the happiest and most content that I have ever been so I should really hush about a bad day and focus on that .
  15. YES! Go, Girl, GO!!! I (as you know) am a hairstylist and massage therapist but I did have the fantastic opportunity to go to the Sassoon Academy in London. I wouldn't trade it for anything. GO GO GO! It is the most eye opening and mind-widening experience ever! Looks great on your resume' and it's just a mind-expanding experience you will love and benefit from forever. Pick one and Go! Any of your choices would be a wonderful experience and the time of your life. Good for you!
  16. 2:30 all week next week for my Junior SPHS'er. He doesn't know it yet but I'm gonna put him to work ! My Dad is moving back to May-retta :yahoo: and needs a strapping young man to help move the heavy stuff and oh! yes! I have one of those!
  17. OH SO CUTE! I LOVE! Seriously, I would buy one in 5 colors from you. No joke. If you decide to make some, I will take 5! And, my fiance' does work for/with the homeless downtown and in and around Paulding, where he lives. They would LOVE anything you can donate. They go every Wednesday to a bad neighborhood in Douglasville and they need everything. They would SO appreciate a hat or a few hats. Be blessed for blessing others not only with your supplies but most of all, your time. Also, I am willing to trade salon/spa gift certificates for hats(Chris Nicholson Salon and Spa in Kennesaw).
  18. Just got home and read all of your replies. I love it and I love you all. Hope your day got better. Mine was saved in the nick of time by a great dinner out with my 17 yr old son and then books, talking, coffee and a little smoochin' with the man of my dreams...he makes a horrible ANYTHING better...I'm never lettin' him go . But, OUCH! this day is gonna leave a mark for a while .
  19. sounds perfect! My son and I always make Wednesday night our "eat out midweek" night. Will you be doing this next Wednesday? If so, we are there! BTW, it's a great building you have...very nice atmosphere. I was a regular at MacFarlanes and was so sad when they closed . Hmmm...I'm thinking now I will bring my Daddy and his lady, too. They love a great food deal and we are VERY loyal to our favorite places . Glad you're there. Blessings and lots of luck!
  20. HAS gone wrong today. Well, not EVERYTHING but it feels like it. My head is pounding and it's only 1:00. What do you do on these sort of days to make it better?
  21. Madea, I'm whipped . And, we are doing(or NOT doing, if ya know what I mean )everything in the right order. We are head over heels but say "goodbye" every night. We both agree we don't wanna say goodnight anymore unless we are together and we need a couple "I do's" and a piece of paper to do that. .
