Maybe...I've heard of some people, though, who have lived with HIV for a while without it developing into AIDS. As long as you take care of yourself and stay on the meds...

That's great! The first time is always hard...but you and your husband need that time, and your parents and your daughter need that bonding time also!

i dont disagree with your post....but using your points i would ask...where is a child to go if the child has issues severe enough to keep them from public school?
what i mean is that if a school has a problem child what level of problem becomes too much for the school?
if this child was such an issue why did the school and the parents allow themselves to get to the point of calling the police before finding the child the most appropriate environment for her?
just seems to me that the system run by the intelligent professionals totally failed this child...if she should have been in a private school geared towards problem children why was she not?
how can an adult run school system become "fed up" with a child? getting so is not a solution it is a reaction...
this child deserves adults to teach her to the best ability she can be taught...the damned adults shouldnt become pissy and give up...they should adjust to fit the need
sad
I agree that obviously the best decisions had not been made for this child, beforehand, to ward off any situations of this kind. But, that's just it, we don't know all of the circumstances, like all of the steps that had been taken or put into place beforehand, and maybe you should wait to know what these were for sure before jumping on the people at the school for the way they handled the situation. This is why it is so tough for educators today, because people automatically jump to conclusions and blame teachers and administrators for not doing their job, when they don't have all of the facts. This is what's sad...that educators are not given the benefit of the doubt and are automatically proven guilty. Someone's got to be blamed, right??? And it's sure not your precious child's fault because they would never do anything wrong!!! Sorry...I'll get off my soapbox now.

heck if she sneezes they can charge her with discharging a weapon on school property...friggin bunch of lazy idiots..charging her with a crime for wetting pants...if thats a crime here in the usa this is getting to be a sorrrry place
school officials were at their "wits end"....they dont have the right to be at their wits end...it is their job//they need to be at their jobs end if they cannot deal with this another way
So educators are not human??? I'll be the first to admit that I've been at my wit's end with a few of my students! In this day and age when basically our hands are tied behind our backs, it is very easy to get to this point because teachers are not respected or supported.

Wow! That looks great! How much did it cost?

teaching is hot
yeah...anyone can be a teacher right now...as long as you breath oxygen!
-
Oh, and by the way...I get there every morning about 7...so I think that makes, oh what, about 12 hours a day...not counting nights and weekends when I'm off the clock!
-
I doubt a teacher puts in more hours than the "regular" professional.
Oh nevermind...it's not worth my time and effort...I'm a little exhausted after grading papers and working on lesson plans for the four hours since I've been home from work. I end up bringing a great bit of my work home with me because I get kicked out of my building at 6:30 (something about our hours only being until 3 or something?!) and seeing as how I'm with my students all day long with only about 20-25 minutes of planning and a 10 minute lunch, which I work through just so I can leave at 6:30...but I guess you're right. We get paid exactly what we deserve, since we chose the profession and all

I can't believe this is your attitude toward teachers!
Personally, I do not believe you could handle a teaching position. There is much more to being a teacher than I think you realize!!
p.s. I will vote YES!!
Thank you!!! This person needs to get their facts straight! We barely even get two months off during the summer now and furthermore any teacher that I know and myself included are up at the schools working even on our breaks. We have this time off because we need it and the kids need it to recoup! Also, I think that average salary is a little far-fetched! The starting salary of a teacher is only around 33 or 34K and the step increase every year is maybe only around a thousand or two.

It seems like the older you get, the faster it goes! It's just not as exciting as it is when you are a kid!

Try Dr. Roger Sisk. His Number is 770-514-8986. We've been seeing him for about 20 years. Hes on dallas Highway across from the Avenue. Great doctor and his office staff are great.
We use Dr. Sisk! He is wonderful and so are his nurses!! They are like family to us!!!

those are a special edition......Geridelli's (spelling is WAY wrong) also makes one that's even BETTER! (also available at Target...and only available at Christmas)
Thanks! I'll have to look out for those!
Why is it that the best things are only around during Christmas? I guess thats what makes them even better!

I've also found a new kind of Hershey that I love! They are white chocolate and peppermint. I guess they're just special for the holidays.

Those are so cute!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! And now for a fresh start...
-
It was disappointing because I really thought they were going to pull it off! Taylor B had a great game! The defense just couldn't hold them! Keeping my fingers crossed the CJ will decide to stay (wishful thinking!) Overall, though, our team looks great for next year, even if he doesn't come back!

That's gonna be one pretty baby!
I don't know...I've seen some of the prettiest people make the ugliest babies!
