  1. Thank you everyone so much! Johnny Moss, I love your avatar!

I just went and created one of those tickers on snugglepie. I copied and pasted the URL to my sig, but it is not showing up. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

  2. you can find it at walmart and it works for several things. I believe one is colic.

I've never heard of it! I'll have to keep that in mind because those mylicon gas drops did not work on either of my kids!

  3. I think the life cycle is all backwards:

You should start out dead; just get it out of the way first.

You wake up in a senior care facility and start feeling better every day.

You get kicked out of there for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you start

work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.

You drink alcohol, you party, you're "generally" promiscuous and you get ready for High School.

After High School, you go to primary school, you become a kid, you play or nap all day, you have

    no responsibilities.

You become a baby with no cares whatsoever.

Then, you spend your last 9 months floating peacefully with luxuries like central heating, spa

treatments, room service on tap, larger living quarters every day...and then... you finish off as an orgasm!

It would have to be better that way ... because this getting old just sucks

    ;) :excl:

  4. I agree...I used teething tablets with both mine. I still give them to my son and he is 1. I also gave them grip water. It works wonders for all kinds of stuff!

    :)

    What is grip water?

  5. My ex and I took our 8 year old last night also. I know that sounds weird but I go to provide chauffer service as my ex can never find his way around downtown and the thought of trying to give him directions of the phone is scary. Anyways, we have gone for the past 4 or 5 years and let me give you some words of advice.

We had a pretty lousy time last night because I had been busy and forgot to purchase our tickets early. If you want to stay away from loud, vulgar, obnoxious people, I would suggest purchasing tickets in the family section. As I said, I forgot this year and the whole row behind us was full of... oh I don't know what generation they are calling them now but.. early 20's... mostly guys.. and a few girls. They were all drunk, they were all shouting the F word, they were talking openly about what kind of.. um.. activities were going to be going on when they got home (if you get my drift)... they spilled beer everywhere, they lit up briefly a few times, and of course the fact that there were children all around did not stop them at all from acting like animals. :angry2:

On the bright side, they were so fixated with getting beer and taking smoke breaks they were really only behind us for about an hour and a half. Even so, it really ruined the whole tone of the night for us. So... as I mentioned.. buy your tickets early and choose the family section (no-alcohol).

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind!

  6. I drove to Scottish Rite 14 years ago to find a wonderful "pediatric dentist"--I found him in Smyrna! Dr. Ted Aspes is so wonderful!! He has a wonderful office staff and we have been there for 14 years!

He was my pediatric dentist! Julia Roberts' also!

  7. what are the ages of your other children?

I will have 3 under 6  I'll need a good drink and a pill every night

Me too! When the baby is born, they'll be 4, 2 and then the new one!

what are the ages of your other children?

I will have 3 under 6  I'll need a good drink and a pill every night

:p Yeah, I didn't start drinking until I had kids!

  8. well I guess it also matters how far apart in age your kiddos are. I had the perfect spacing...oldest was 5 when the next came along...and we thought we were done having kids. lol. Then God had other plans for me and I was pregnant with Smooch when now middle child was 19 months....yikes!

So, I guess the hardest for me is having now, the oldest and middle fighting like cats and dogs, Smooch needing lots of attention, middle one demanding ALL the attention....and homeschooling them all to boot. Hmmm, no wonder I am looney!

Pointers....take all help that is offered. Try to stick to a schedule with the older ones....make sure your hubby does his share. You'll be fine, its just chaotic at times. There are days I really have no time for ME, which can get overwhelming.

Oh, and for some reason, having that 3rd child increases your laundry 10 fold.

What is that??? :p Thank you! My husband is a huge help and does more than his fair share. I am blessed in that area! I am worried about the middle child syndrome, though!

  9. We have gone for the past 6 or 7 years. My boys love it.

We had to take our 16 month old daughter with us last night. Yes it is loud, but with earplugs and headphone thingys she slept right through most of it. :o ;)

Good! We'll definitely plan on it next year then! My son is really into trucks and anything destructive for that matter. He is all boy!!

  10. Oh, someone LIED to you! Going from 2 to 3 is a pretty huge jump. You are now officially outnumbered. Maybe others have thought is was easy....or maybe they are just on some real good drugs! :D

    Oh no! Any pointers?

  11. There was also the time that they were building houses across a creek from our house. We would go into that subdivision and go all though the houses being built. We never took anything or damaged anything. We just looked around. I think that is called tresspassing today.

We did the same thing because we lived in a brand new neighborhood. We also used to ride our bikes to our school and climb up on top of the roof.

  12. Congrats!! I'm pregnant too! I'll be six weeks Tuesday. This is my First.:D

Thank you guys! We are really excited, heard that going from two to three is a breeze, I sure hope so!

Congrats to you also! We are close then, I'm only about 4.

  13. How many seasons have they had. I am new and would like to get caught up.

Twinsister said that I can start from the first on Sunday nights on Lifetime. It that true.

When it first came on I was working and I couldn't stay up that long. So now I am so behind.

This is season 3, I've watched it from the beginning...it's my favorite show and I'm in love with McDreamy (if you couldn't tell from my avatar!)
