  1. Once someone explains to me how the solar cycles are affected by my aerosol Aqua Net hairspray and how Mars's Global Warming is affected by my Ford Explorer and how changes in the earth's magnetic field is affected by my air conditioner in clear and scientific terms, I'll buy into. But, as long as the champion of global warming is a man screaming "He Lied! He Lied to Us!" I'll be a little skeptical.

    :p hehe

  2. Still news to me............LOL My oldest didn't have reflux, and the dr. told me to put cereal in his bottle. I had started putting the cereal in before then, but he still told me to...........LOL

He weighed 5 1/2 at birth. He NEVER lost a single oz. He weighed almost 6 lbs. when we brought him home from the hospital................LOL He was born small, but didn't stay small long. When he was 4 months, he weighed 15 lbs. He is now 7 and weighs right at 60 lbs. It's something like 59.8. He's only 2 lbs. lighter than my 11 year old. Yes, he still has that appitite, I believe it's got worse................LOL He's a big boy, espically for me. He's about 3 inches shorter than my 11 year old also...............LOL

Yeah, it's news to me, too! Neither of mine had reflux, I just did it so they would be content, and plus it helped them sleep all night long!

  3. i am very much against alcohol, my beloved husband that passed away on jan. 4th. his

medical problems were due to alcoholism. i was raised in a alcoholic home, i know

the effects of it. i don't think associating the wine that Jesus drink with what people

drink today. His wine was watered down to a ratio 4 or 5 parts water to one part

wine. 10 million americans are estimated to be alcoholics

1 family in 3 are affected by it

    alcohol abuse cost u.s. 40 - 60 billion$ a yr.

    97,000 deaths annually in america

1/2 of all traffic fatal are

1/3 of all traffic injuries are alcohol related

3,000,000 drinkers between the age of 14 - 17 yrs.

also, closer to home, i was told that 7 middle schoolers was sent home in one day

for drinking at school. i read an article about young people are starting to drink

at a younger age today. as, far, as people having the right to drink or buy alcohol

on sunday, i, suppose they do.

It's getting drunk that's the sin, not the alcohol itself! It's like everything else, you need to drink it in moderation and responsibly if you choose to!

you maybe right about some sbc churches, but, not all!

Oh yes, I agree with you totally. I did not mean to sound like I was grouping all SBC churches together. Sorry!

  4. I beat the 07 rush when I bought a pre-lit tree the day after christmas :D

    Now, about those pesky lights....

The bother me in October and they bother me in February........all times in between I'm okay with the lights...

but on the other hand, as long as a HOA isn't forcing them down then it's no one's business but their own when/if those lights come down....

Pink flamingos bother me more :ninja:

 My personal favorites are the artificial flowers planted in the ground!

  5. I agree with Parrotthead, we can not keep going the way we are with no assistance from the taxpayers - the hole will just get deeper and we won't be looking at a year or two of double sessions - we will be looking at our kids being in double sessions their entire school life. :(

I am a YES voter and I also voted that I did not think it would eliminate some of our problems. However, it should help in the future, I believe.

We did not get in this predicament over night and it is going to take some time and a lot of effort on everyone's part to help our schools. But, the horrible negativity and constant put downs of our School Board is not the answer.

    :D ;)

  6. oh no

Don't worry, you'll be fine ;) Taking care of a baby is not rocket science...just trust your motherly instincts. A lot of it is trial and error! What works or worked for someone elses baby, may not work for yours and vice versa! Every child is different.
