Harbor Freight sells two different sets of security bits that have one in them. Harbor Freight Security Bit Set I have the larger set. It's got a lot of the 'essential' security bits that have helped me open a lot of things over the years.

You keep going back to this same basic statement. Even though, I have said several times, that I am not saying a word about them raising the tax to keep everything in check. I never said it didn't need to be done. Nobody said they weren't handed a crappy hand or anything about the actual job that they are doing. The ONLY thing I said was that there WAS a tax increase, regardless if people think there wasn't. And that, in general, the government, local or otherwise, has a historical habit of telling people they will not raise taxes, when in fact they do... and hide it by knowing that t

I'm not talking about candidates or any specific government... I'm talking about government in general.

That's the primary point! People listen to the politician's say "we aren't going to increase your tax" or "there will be no tax hike." That is complete and total bullcheeze because they KNOW that people will look at the bottom line of what is coming out of their pocket and then have no problems with it. When in fact, they ARE increasing the tax. It's a way for politician's to cover up or go back on a lie. Whether it's needed or not has no bearing on the political verbiage they use to deceive the public (general statement about politician's). People think they pay less and credit th

Well, goody for you! It's not my definition, it's the definition in the economics text books that I had in college. Because most people listen and only hear what the politicians want them to hear and not the truth. Really? I bet you'll come back. See, I told you that you'd come back... in the same post even! ...and I'm not saying the AMOUNT you are paying increased? In the valuation of property tax, it's based on MIL rates. MIL rates are a PERCENTAGE per $1000 of your property value. If the MIL rate goes up, the percentage of your valuati
-
I'm pretty sure I never said that I faulted the county for anything nor did I say that I was opposed to it. What I said was the tax rate went up... People are arguing that it didn't. The MIL that you pay is your tax rate. It goes up, taxes go up. The amount of value on what you are paying makes absolutely no bearing on the tax rate. Because the item you are being taxed on loses value does not mean the taxes didn't go up on that item. It means you are paying a higher percentage for a lower value item...
-
Uh... No. The tax burden is a percentage of value that the government takes from you, for that item. When that tax rate (percentage) goes up, your taxes have gone up. It doesn't matter what the value of the item is, the tax rate went up.
-
YES, they are! They raise the MIL rate. The MIL rate is the rate of tax you pay. The MIL rate can't go down and the percentage of tax burden go down. The MIL goes up, your percentage of tax burden goes up. The value of your property has no bearing on the tax rate going up, period.
-
THEY didn't give us crap, especially a tax cut. The value of your property went down. THEY didn't make your property value go down. The economy made your value you go. It absolutely amazes me how many government sheep there are out there and can't see the truth of government actions. The proverbial "wool over the eyes..."
-
I'm not arguing anything about what might happen in the future... that was just a simple example. The argument was whether or not there was a tax hike. If the percentage of the value of what you are being taxed on goes up, that's a tax hike. The value of the item and what you are actually paying doesn't negate the fact that there was a tax hike.
-
BINGO! Your TAXES WENT UP! Apparently you don't understand the concept either. If the tax rate goes up, YOUR taxes go up. The amount you pay being lower does not mean the percentage of tax burden being placed upon you has not gone up. Apparently, you are. You don't understand, or fail to recognize that taxes can go up and just because you don't pay as much doesn't mean the tax burden didn't increase. That has nothing to do with the fact that it's being said that taxes didn't go up. I've never once said it wasn't needed or warranted. I said to state that your t
-
Like I said... that's the mentality that they are counting on. I wonder how relevant it will be once the values start going back up but the tax rate doesn't go down. Tell me how irrelevant it is at that point.
-
You just don't get it... I didn't say the AMOUNT you pay isn't lower. Please LEARN THE DIFFERENCE! Just because the AMOUNT you pay isn't higher does not mean your taxes didn't go up! Why is this so hard to understand?? If you have an item worth $1000 and you are taxed at 5% you pay the amount of $50. If the item devalues and is now worth $500 and they increase the tax rate to 8%, you are paying less money ($40) but your TAX RATE STILL WENT UP! This is not rocket science!
-
THAT is the mentality that they are counting on! No, he IS NOT wrong, he's dead right. Just because the amount of money you pay goes down does NOT mean the taxes didn't go up! Why can't people get that through their head? The value of the property has NO EFFECT on the percentage of money they are taking from us. If the MILS go up, your TAXES go up. It makes no difference that the value you are being taxed on goes down. The taxes themselves went up.

Yeah, I've been pretty happy with their actual service product. I've had very few times when it's been out... their service up time is very good.
-
It's Comcast. They will point the finger at your equipment, no matter what. Comcast support is horrible. Luckily, I rarely have troubles with their service, but when you do have to call them, it's a nightmare. I called them one time because I couldn't get to any website by name. I could ping the website and get a result and I could go to the website by IP. I called and talked to support to let them know that it appeared that their DNS servers were not working properly. The person I spoke with had no clue as to what I was talking about and kept telling me that their systems re

Don't know specifically about voice, but if your modem has the voice splitter built in to it, it should be able to be used. I am using my own data only modem. You just have to call them and give them the MAC address of your unit so they can provision it in their system.

Umm... No, you didn't say "while President." You said, Oh, and please tell me the great accomplishments that those Freemasons which became president accomplished." And you didn't use a coma where you should have, either. I'm not pissed at anyone. I like to spread propaganda for "big bro?" Bahahahahahaha! Yeah, you're an idiot!!! So, let me get this straight... I support Chick-Fil-A's right to say what they said and I don't support being gay. However, I do support any persons right to live their life as they see fit as long as it doesn't interfere with mine or someo -

#1. There's a difference in a Freemason and a Mason. #2. No, I am not a brick layer, nor am I a Freemason. And with your intelligence, I seriously doubt you have enough money to be betting on anything. #3. The great accomplishments of those Freemasons? a. They revolted against England and became traitors of the crown. b. They created the greatest country on earth, The United States of America. c. They created a binding law called the Constitution of the United States to protect us citizens from over zealot religious fanatics, such as yourself from imposing their beliefs -

Yes, you really are that stupid. You have been proven wrong you're just too stupid to know it. You don't know American history. You don't know the basis of your own religion. You're a bigot. And you're the prime example of a religious zealot that our forefathers specifically did not want us to become. -

You do not know the difference in referencing God and and Jesus Christ. Once again, maybe this will sink if to your thick skull. Believing and trusting in GOD is a "Christian." The Jewish faith believes in GOD, but they are NOT Christian. You have to believe in Christ and accept him as your savior, to be Christian. If I say that GOD is my creator, GOD is my guide, and GOD is who I pray too, that DOES NOT make me a Christian. You REALLY need to go to church and learn a little more about this faith that you claim to be! You realize this was before the country was f -

Ok, YOU are one stupid individual!! I have not made ANY claims against your faith.. I made claims against your hypocrisy and using your false faith to support your bigotry. What I have pointed out so many times is how you're a hypocrite, claiming to be so Christian like and all you are doing is hating. Totally opposite of Christ's teachings. If you were half the Christian you claim to be, you'd know that most of the talk in the Bible about homosexuality was the OLD testament. They were commandments from God. They had NOTHING to do with Christ. In case you didn't know, ev -

Messianic Jews are not of the Jewish faith. "Jews" can be defined multiple ways... Jewish faith and Jewish nationality. Not all Jew's are of Jewish faith. Messianic Jews are not Jewish faith, they are Christian faith. Messianic Jews are a division of Christian faith, just like Baptists, Methodist, Lutheran, etc... The difference is that they also hold on to some of their old traditions. By the meer fact that a Messianic Jew accepts Christ as their savior, makes them a Christian. So, yes, a Jew can be a Christian... But a Jew of faith cannot be a Christian o -

You really are a tool! You don't understand the concept of witnessing to someone versus judging them or trying to run their life, do you? YOU are not God and it's NOT YOUR job to judge people. From the very scripture YOU posted, if you see someone sin, you should let them know they are sinning and witness them to God. YOU are NOT to JUDGE them and condemn them to hell, as you posted in your previous post. YOU are NOT in charge of someone elses soul NOR their life. Even outside of religion, this IS the United States of America and people are afforded individual liberty. O -
