Spartans vs Raiders still at 0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

We also had 7 minutes left in our game and they called it immediately. Of course we were losing 52-0 But I have a great feeling about tonight's game against East!

Who's ready for some football?!?!?! Black out night at South Paulding!

At South Paulding it is $300 for the football player fees at the high school level. My son plays and we have been given plenty of fundraisers to help offset that cost. I'm not sure what the JR Spartans program charges though. The booster (Touchdown Club) is separate and starts at $25. I've been told by a reliable source that Paulding County High School does not charge their football players at all. Only the JR Patriots have to pay to play.

That's exactly what I said last night but was told I had to pay to park there. It was on school property on their soccer field. We did notice a lot of people parking on the side of the road but the field was practically empty. Now I know why LOL!

We went to a game at Villa Rica last night and they were charging $3 to park. I made sure to ask if it was "donation" only and was told no that it was mandatory. So glad Paulding County schools don't charge!

South had a bye week so we went and watched the Villa Rica vs Allatoona game. Once again Allatoona is on their game this year. Looking forward to playing them! Still shocked by the East/North score. Figured it would be a lot closer!

Are you asking about booster fees or the actual fee to play football? South Paulding charges $25-$300 to join the Touchdown Club which depends on the type of membership you purchase. The actual football player fees are separate.

I also say no to parking fees. My son plays football on the JV team for South Paulding. We attend at least 2 games a week because he also has to be at the Varsity games. There have been at least 4 fundraising opportunities since April to help the players offset the cost of their fees and the help contribute to the program. Plus you have the visitors side concession that is run by the football program, selling of spirit wear and sponsorship. There are plenty of ways to make money without charging parking fees.

Yeah it was a little odd this year with the scheduling. North, South & East started their seasons tonight. Hiram & Paulding start next Friday. South has their 1st BYE week next week and our 2nd one later in the season.

Tonight was a regular season non conference game foe South Paulding. Our scrimmage game was last Friday against Hillgrove.
