I wanted to get some opinions on filing an appeal against the new title tax. I purchased a vehicle through private sale. When I went to the tag office to register the vehicle the state had valued said vehicle at $4,100. I only paid $2,800 for the car. The title tax is 6.5% of the value of the car. I questioned why the value was so high because even Kelley Blue Book has the highest value at $3,100. I know from experience that Kelley Blue Book value is usually higher then NADA value(which is what the state uses to determine value). I have the same scenario! My son is in the JROTC Color Guard too. He usually commands the flag detail group. We have been to every single game except Woodland. We are going tonight too. I promise to keep you updated

I just finished reading one of the blogs where all the "nasty, vulgar trash talking" is going on. It makes me sick to think that some people would have the audacity to say some of those things! I have a bad feeling that the South/Gainesville game is going to get ugly. I know these boys read these blogs and are fired up. I just hope they use all that trash talking to motivate them and play their hearts out.
