I think the course has improved. The grounds are in much better shape and I think that Lane does an excellent job. I don't know about the lush factor, though.
It is a decent course at a decent price. The clubhouse has a great hamburger and cold beer. Not much else you can ask for after playing a round.
Has Creekside Golf Club improved over the last several years? I played it about 5 yrs. ago and I would classify it as nothing more than an "okay" golf course at that time. At best. Actually, it probably needed some help, I'll leave it at that. Anyway, a buddy of mine and myself went over there to hit some balls at the range a few weeks ago, and it started raining so we went to the clubhouse and had a beer. Looking out on the course it looked much nicer (lusher?) than I remember. But that was just a snapshot of one hole (and mostly just the green at that) from the clubhouse. Can anyone fill me on whether they have made some drastic improvements in the lush factor of the overall course? I know I should just go try it out again, and I plan to, but I'm looking for opinions also. TIA -

I am not defending him in my statment above, but I do have to think of both sides of the story....I will not call him guilty without all the facts and without a court. You are just looking at it from one side....it is very possible that he did not know tha she was a student and if she was 17 she one could have looked older (which is not a good excuse) and two lied about her age to him as she lied to the cops about her age. Unless they knew they were going to get caught that day, and both came up with the same age when questioned seperatly....I have to think that she lied to him about her age as well. However, none of this takes away from the fact that he cheated on his wife and that is really messed up.
He knew exactly how old this girl truly is - she is/was involved with him in a school setting (edited to eliminate to precise a description of the school relationship by pubby).
Both sides of the story still don't add up to why a 42 year old man was in a parked car in a city park with a 17 year old girl.

Your political ignorance is showing again. DC is run much more on the seniority system than the party system. If we do elect Jim Martin, do not think for one minute that he could bring more pork home because of party.
With Obama in the White House, and the Senate in solid Democrat control, it MIGHT just be a wise move, for the residents of Georgia, to have a Democratic Senator ensconsed in DC instead of 2 Republicans. At least we would have the opportunity to capitalize a little more on getting some of the pork for our table.Otherwise we will be looking at more pork projects like the $4million from the State for the terminal at the airport going somewhere else instead because OUR Legislators are on the outs with the Governor.
It works the same way on the Federal level and let's face the facts of who is in control now. I would like to see some representation who will be able to accomplish positive projects for Georgia with Federal assistance.

yes, we are all aware. it will all be fine. McClure is having a mystery dinner, chorus is performing at our fall festival.
You say that but most people I talk to didn't realize how much is going on there Friday night.

Everyone might want to be reminded that NPHS is having a home football game and there is a chorus concert at McClure. Parking is going to be a nightmare.

3. Give hubby a child job and walk away. Hubby always took care of the baths in the evening. I have never given my kids a bath. I would go walking or visiting with the neighbors while he took care of the baths. You need to give him a job that is his and his alone and walk away. It will do you good. I promise.

Why does everyone think that every elected official has to respond on this message board? Last time I checked, there are several Paulding County message boards out there. Plus, have you actually called and spoken directly to him? I have. To ask him to respond to anonymous people on an anonymous message board is silly, in my opinion. This site is not the authority in Paulding County.

Not a Larry supporter, but Whitey I believe your comment on the BOC voting to increase the water and sewer rates is a little misleading. Basically they voted to pass on the increase in the rates Cobb was passing on to Paulding since we purchase our water from Cobb -
