[Tonight's dinner 10/23]

We had marinated pork roast, cajun garlic butter rice, and broccoli. I made a confetti cake for dessert since I am in a baking mood with the cooler weather.

I was surprised to not see anything on the news this evening. Usually something like this, (if it was carbon monoxide, would be all over the news.

Well, that is an interesting question. I think God helps those who believe in Him to help themselves.

Q-100 is all I listen to in the am. I enjoy their banter and they usually talk about real stuff and throw in a few songs. I'd rather listen to them talk than hear the same 3 songs over and over. But that's just me.

I agree, dreaming is painless and free too. The house I am renting in Dallas is only a little over 50 years old, but it has so much personality. Sad thing is that by 2008 it will be yet another strip mall.

I'd be curious to know too. There was also one Saturday morning about 7:00 am. The suspect was exceeding 90 mph on Black Acre Trail, throwing drugs out the window. The car caught on fire at Dallas Acworth & Old Stilesboro. Anyone out there know anything else about that one?

Okay, I know this post is old and died off, but I was wondering if anything ever came out of this. Did you do an investigation or ever find out what happened. I too love these kinds of stories.

[Vision Works]

I've been seeing ads on t.v. for vision works.Has anyone ever used them?Do you know where one is located,hopefully local.If not can you reccomend a decent place around her to get a vision test and glasses?

 

 

I think there is a new one at Arbor Place in addition to Town Center. I think it was about $140 with the exam. Not too bad for 2 pairs of glasses. Do some shopping while you wait as it usually takes longer than an hour.

[Do you have a MYSPACE and are you over 35?]

Both of my girls have them but they have said they'd flip out if I got one! They can't stand the thought. However, I heard the other day that statistically 70% of all myspace users are over the age of 35. I'm 40. Am I too old?

I am 37 and I have one. I've lived in several States and it has helped me to reconnect with old friends. We are also using it to organize my, gulp and large pause, 20th High School Reunion.
