Is Trick or Treating on Saturday or Tuesday?
or is this like the Elections,
whar Republicans vote on Tuesday Nov 7,
and Democrats vote on Wednesday November 8th?

I had a weird experience today. I heard a knock on my door and looked out. There was a woman out there who I thought was my neighbor. She said she had fallen asleep at her friends last night, and when she woke up her van was gone. Don't know how accurate the facts following are but she said the police wouldn't be able to help her. She walked from around 92 & E Paulding Drive up to the Kroger on 92 & Dallas Acworth Highway. She had her dog and cat with her. Somewhere around The Reserve, something scared her cat and it jumped out of her arms and down the street. It is a white cat with blue eyes, I beleive she said the hair was medium length. If anyone sees a cat fitting this description, can you please let me know? I just dropped her off at the SO a little while ago as I wasn't comfortable having someone in my house all day that I do not know. She was here for about 2 hours making calls and trying to get a ride. I told her I would be on the lookout for her cat. Thanks everyone.

At our previous address I came home with my son one morning. My garage door opener was broken so I went in to open it. There was some punk trying to get out of my basement door. I asked him what he was doing there and he asked me what I was doing there.got out the door and all I could think of was my son out in my car. I got out there door and saw him running across my neighbors yard. My Mommy hormones kicked in then. I chased his tail down Mars Hill Church Rd while dialing 911. I gave them the plate number. They found him about an hour later off Mars Hill & Giles. Turns out he was friends with the kids across the street. He stole the stupidest things, and we were able to recover it all by retracing his steps. I certainly didn't care about pissing off the neighbors, he violated me. He plead guilty and had a small sentence, but never came back.

Have you thought of an anonymous tip to DFACS? That probably wouldn't help. It is hard to make the call to the SO and know they are going to resent you, but what if their "crimes" get worse as they get older. They may start throwing bigger things than rocks, and/or taking more valuable things than old tires. Short of moving, which you shouldn't have to do, I think the SO is the way to go.

I guess they go after these young girls since they don't have anything to compare them to. The girls parents don't want to cause problems, but who is going to be raising the child if she gets pregnant? Let's not even go into the aspect of her possibly getting a disease from him. I don't know about you, but a butt-whooping should be the least of a guy's worries if he tries to mess with my daughter. I may let him choose which caliber I use though, I think that's the right thing to do.

Prayers said. In my family we had 3 babies born very early. The latest one was my nice in May. She is 8 days younger than my baby girl and outweighs her already. The other 2 are 2 and 3, all girls, and of normal development. Hope this helps.

The only one I've heard of is the one off Ridge Road on Saturday. There is a post somewhere around here. I believe it is being put on by the 4H club in that area. Wish I could help, but I am fairly new to the area.

Every year - THOUSANDS of kids show up at THE AVENUE WEST COBB to safely trick or treat in the shops there. It's great fun for the children and a great chance to show off your kids!
I observed this phenomenal event last year and thought that I'd share. Y'all go and have a great time!!!
I am assuming that it will be on Halloween, but do you know the hours? Thanks!

I am a lefty, my Mother is a lefty, my Grandmother was a lefty, my Mother-in-Law is a lefty, as well as my Brother-in-Law. My husband is the only righty, and is rather upset that our kids tend to use their left hands more. Thanks for the interesting poll. My Grandfather used both because when he was in scholl they hit his hand with a ruler when he tried to write left-handed.

That is too cute. Reminds me of the days when my Grandma would put us in old socks and spray Endust or some such spray on them and let us play on the hardwoods. We had a blast sliding around, and she got her floors cleaned so she could watch her soaps.

My mom and dad live on Mill Creek Road. Mom asked me if I knew anything about a fatal accident on that road today. Could this be the cause of the helicopter? Does anyone know about the accident on Mill Creek Road today?

I hope your puppy will be okay. That can be scary. We had a German Shepard that got Parvo, but he pulled through.

Ok, it's funny but not really at this point. My puppy has the WORST gas problem in the world. He farts constatntly! They arent little "poots" either....they are full blown fog horns. and good gosh it smells like something crawled up in him and died. I have changed foods numerous times and it does no good. We thought it was the cat food he we sneaking....but he hasnt had access to that in almost a week...then we thought it may be him stealing turd candy from the cat box...nope...he hasnt done that in a while either....I'm out of ideas and so tired of stinky butt...lol. I dont know what to do now. Anyone ever had this problem? or have any other suggestions???
I wonder if your pooch could take a small dose of beano. A friend of mine used to take a papaya supplement. May be able to crush some into the dog food.

no more beans for puppy, lol. Ok, seriously, he may need a different type of food. And discontinue people food for awhile if he is getting any.

Yes. It took me 5 years to conceive when my husband and I decided to have children. The last two were pleasant surprises. All 3 are blessings. God sends babies here for reasons only he knows.
