  1. Okay my daughter will NOT drink water! However, she will drink juice and milk. But I don't want her teeth to rot out, what else is there for her to have with little sugar? Also, childrens toothpaste has ALOT of sugar in it, is there a different kind of toothpaste I can use? She is over a year.

We use Crystal Light instead of Kool Aid. Kroger and Walmart both have their own version. They are preety good and cheaper than Kool Aid too.

  2. I heard briefly that the Paulding DA flubbed on the grand jury indictment paperwork, and due to that technicality that sicko could be realsed on bond. Did I hear this correctly? Say it isn't so! There will be alot of upset folks in this county if this is true!

I heard the same thing at noon. Crazy how many people get off on technicalities.

  3. Looks like something my kids would do, and have done on a smaller scale. The proof is in the picture. Luckily it was just shaving cream that time. Yes, I am saving the picture to show to future girlfriends.

Sorry, don't know why it didn't just show.

  4. Hmmmmmm.........was wondering about the "why."

That's really scary if true. Maybe Neal is right.....we're in the last 800 days of talk radio.

Example a little closer to home: Lost one of my best co-workers of 3 years last week because she dared to insist that 3 Spanish speaking co-workers actually speak English (which they all do very well). They complained to Human Resources and HR instructed the location manager to "write her up" for "inciting disharmony in the workplace." Funny thing, I was there, witnessed it and one of the recent immigrants (who has since become naturalized), said "No, you need to learn to speak Spanish."

My co-worker QUIT INSTANTLY on the spot. Incidently, nothing was done to the legal immigrant for her insistance that the English speaking, American born employee speak Spanish. Are we amazed? Probably not. <_< Are we scared? Hopefully. :o Are we mad? Better be.

Kudos to the American born, English speaking employee for her integrity. Unfortunately, she's now unemployed. :(

Sorry to hear about your friend, but glad she stood up for herself. She sounds like she has it together and will have no problem finding a new job. It is scary if that is why they got fired.

  5. Yes kids do!! :angry2: They haven't bothered a thing My god there aint a thing there that they could hurt! HAVE YOU SEEN THIS PLACE ? Come on. And yes i knew my child was going there. The whole place is a rotton dump. A couple of the Dads knows the family . The family has been here for years on end. My god let the kids have fun. Dumping stuff on property and going through an old house that is beyond repair are two differant things. Know one is doing anything destructive.

Not to defend the other poster, but I believe in your first post you said that the kids ransacked it. Of course that word could be interpreted many ways. I believe someone else said that all of the family's items were still inside. I am sure it was just a result of peoples different interpretations of the words. Just my 2 cents. On the other hand, if the place is a rotten dump and beyond repair it is probably way too dangerous for them to be in there. What if someone falls through a floor or something?

  6. Oh..and Tuesday night when you bring the fudge to the meeting....Be sure you shave at least your left leg..I don't want to get pierced with all those prickles as I swing you around in circles...and you can sing " la la la la la" as you fly by!

By the way, good coloring job on the Squirrel picture...did your children mind that you destroyed their coloring book? :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

  7. I hope they found the boy's parents. How scary. My little ones are escape artists, so I have to employ some pretty strange tactics to keep them in. So far so good, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

  8. Have you checked westatlantajobs.com? I'd beware of anything job wise from Craiglist. Welcome to GA. I too am in Dallas from LA. I've been here 11 years, but I married a native. Don't know if that counts for anything though.
