OK, I am not a sports watcher and I am really getting tired of this stupid baseball messing with my tv schedule! I want my regular shows back at their regular times.
Anyone know how much longer these baseball games are going to be on at night?
I believe Sunday is the last game if it goes to 7.

We just had to shave my sons head Wednesday because he got clear nail polish in it. I don't know what he is thinking (he's 4). He had to climb up pretty high to get to it too.

Is it just me or are we ( Paulding County) starting to look like the other OVERBUILT metro Atlanta counties...has any thought about the impact of removing 1 home and replacing it with 50...schools,roads,attitudes and who knows what else suffers...for what?? more tax base???Someone at city hall has got to get a clue...2nd soapbox issue...ad signs along our roads...does anyone else think this is an eyesore?? I have got to think there are others who are thinking this way...let me know!!!
I have to agree with you. It is crazy to put up 50 or more homes where 1 has been. WHO is buying all these cramped places?

Yes, I've had this happen once before. When I switched banks our direct pay got messed up and I didn't realize that my insurance had not been paid. It seems that when I paid to reinstate it took the same amount of time. Prayers for a safe drive home for your hubby.
Is that true that if you get pulled over for no insurance that they will impound your car and take you to jail?
I believe it is at the officers discretion, whatever the heck that means. If they don't like your shirt, hmm, who knows?

Call another agent and get some. I for one don't want to hear your hubby's info on the scanner as no valid insurance. You don't want to get your car impounded and husband in jail. It is so not worth it. Even if you have to call Safe Auto for some temporary insurance. Best of luck

When we first moved into our home one late Saturday night (around 11pm) I received a phone call from Drive Time asking for Jennifer (my name) I said that's me they said the police will be there Monday with a warrant for my arrest. I said I don't think so since I have NEVER had an account with drive time and They must have the wrong person. The person from drive time proceeded to verify info by giving me the other person's last name AND social security number!!!! I said no that's not me and If the police show up to arrest me Drive time was gonna be getting a very heated call from me. The person apologized and "called off" the police.
My husband used to work as a repo man and one of the other agents got fired because he used to threaten people with arrest if they didn't turn in the vehicle. That is bs, and they can't do it as the person has a contract and has not stolen anything. It is just a civil matter. He had to quit that job, it was too depressing. Most people had just fallen on hard times.

they can't call and discuss the credit situation. Doing this skirts the law but in the end to me in bad PR for drive time. It is a tactic used to embarass the stiff into paying, by this time they have tried to call and their contacts and sent them letters. At the point I was tracing someone I had copies of multiple attempts of contact so when the popo showed it was clear.
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I have an Aunt that it seems everyone uses as an emergency contact since she is always at home. It amazes me the things that some creditors have said to her about other peoples accounts. She always complains about them calling, but she won't listen to me and tell them to quit calling her. I told her to keep a list of when they call, tell them not to call back, and if they do call ask to speak to a supervisor. I'll be danged if I am going to answer a bunch of calls for other people, but that's just me.

I was under the impression that this was illegal. I have heard stories of collection agencies being sued for discussing information with third parties (you in this situation). Has this changed?

I guess they didn't want to waste their precious new episodes on us, they'd rather wait until that 1 person that is watching baseball to be able to see it. I wonder if they will show the new one on abc.com tonight or tomorrow.

it's on for 2 hours tonight...the 1st one a rerun...the second one is new! can't wait!
They may both be reruns because last nights World Series Game was rained out. I guess ABC doesn't want to risk showing their new shows to less than their full regular audience.
