bored? no. my teenagers are hard at work, vacuuming out the water that keeps filling up in the basement. they're also helping the next door neighbors muck out their basement. they were hit much harder than we were, carpet, padding, and sheetrock all has to come out of 5 rooms downstairs.

confirmed by the water dept, 3 minutes ago. THE COUNTY'S WATER SUPPLY WILL NOT BE CUT OFF. AREAS AFFECTED BY BREAKS AND LEAKS WILL HAVE TO BE TURNED OFF, BUT NOT THE WHOLE COUNTY. AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BOIL WATER TO BATHE OR BRUSH YOUR TEETH. ONLY FOR DRINKING, COOKING, OR PREPARING BABY FOOD. as a matter of fact, the lady who answered the phone asked me if i heard this rumor on paulding.com

their are 18 different water mains coming in to paulding county from cobb county. has your reliable source let you know which mains will be shut off? all of them?

my rain gauge crapped out about an hour ago. it's stuck on 14.93. it was reset on tuesday. yep. 14.93 inches o rain at my house since tuesday. and no way to track how much more is falling/will fall before float away. perhaps this post will serve as some sort of record when future historians find the foundation ruins of my basement.

my ol man thought that would be a problem too. but he's on this thing twice as much as i am. his reading glasses stay right beside it! i've got the 8 inch screen, but they make um up to 11, i think. yep! mine is an ASUS. it's linux driven and has a 4 gig hard drive, and 4 hours of battery life. i paid 168 for it, on woot.com, shipping included. i think november rain tipped me off the day they had them on sale.. -
what is the difference in a NETbook and NOTEbook?
NumberCruncher replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
my little tiny thing that sits on the kitchen counter is a net book. i love it for surfing the net. i've not had any success downloading stuff to it. it may be possible, but i can't do it. a lot of the netbooks come with built in 3g or other comparable wireless software, so they're ultra portable. mine fits in my purse! i love mine, but still have the desktop downstairs for heavy duty stuff. yeah. mines flash only. no place to put a cd or dvd. but, i can hook it up to my big tv and watch hulu. cracks me up! -
anyway, the answer is =SUM(I3:I25)

neither. star office calc was pre-loaded on my linux machine.
