  1. I have to believe they'll resolve that story line since it's been ongoing. They'll have a LOT of pissed off fans if they don't. I'm torn about him finding a girlfriend or becoming "normal" though...that almost seems too cliche.

Never seen it. But, I am mourning this last season of ER.

    What they said!

I don't know how we missed it , but we didn't start watching Psych until late last year. We have since rented the entire first season and are in love with it. We are starting on the second season next week. WOOHOO!

Psych is one of our favorite shows. We finally just watched the one we recorded from Friday night.

  2. What about just a Wii, any of those around?

They had quite a few at the Walmart on Dallas Hwy. This was on Thursday night. We got ours at Kmart last week though. Layaway rocks.

  3. I agree, keep doing what your doing.

I really can't give too much advice, My 3 yo was going (when we asked) and after i had my second child, he totally reverted back to pull ups. he wants to be a baby too he says. He shows absolutely no interest in the potty. My Dr. says not to force him, he'll start again when he's ready, but that's really hard to do when I have to change a toddlers poopy pants....that's not the same as baby poop!

    Good luck petshopboys!

My 3-year-old son has peed in the potty once. Once. He says he doesn't want to get big. He wants to stay little and be with me forever and not go to school either.

Kids will do things in their own time. My oldest was 4 before he was potty trained ( he was afraid of the potty ) :unknw: We never pushed it, let him figure it out on his own. I ran into an old man one day, he overhead me talking to my son about it. He said " I've never seen an adult that isn't potty trained " ... and that made my light come on. He was right, why do we feel like they need to do something by a certain deadline ? I've had 5 more babies since him and they were all potty trained by around 3. They all went through the same phases as your son. That phase can last over a year or more. Just don't push him and things will fall into place.

Good advice. My son, besides not wanting to be "big" also says he's afraid of the potty. My daughter was potty trained before she turned 3 and sometimes it's hard to remember that they will do things in their own time.

  4. For those wanting to learn to crochet or knit, there are web sites that give you video visuals. I learned to knit..one stitch...that way.

    I do prefer crocheting..it goes faster and it's what I know. : )

That's how I learned to knit. The best part about it is I can replay the video until I get the hang of it.

  5. one does? how 'bout the rest?

does the rest of society pity my neighbors because i am a responsible pet owner? how 'bout the rest of pcom?

y'all pity my neighbors because i am spending 1400.00 to build a privacy fence so that my dogs don't bother their dogs?

or does smitty pity my neighbors because he beleives that if a neighborhood cat that's oh so loved but not protected by it's owners climbs into my yard it will be chased and attacked by my 18lb jack russel terrier?

I don't pity your neighbors at all. You seem like a very responsible pet owner. More responsible than one who lets their cat roam the neighborhood and then is shocked when something happens to that pet, i.e., a car runs over it (oh, but it's the driver's fault there right?) or it's attacked by another animal.

  6. wsbtv.com has a pic of a tornado in Roopville????? Where is Roopville???

The first time I drove through Roopville and was very tired. I just glanced at the sign and at first thought it said Poopville. So now every time I drive through there or hear mention of Roopville I can't help but think of Poopville instead. (Sorry anybody from P..I mean Roopville)

  7. VeggieTales. All...day...long... ;)

That was in mine until we took the SD card out to put more pictures on it instead. Now it's back to a Disney Princess songs CD which my 6-year-old daughter always requests as soon as we get in the vehicle!

  8. I want a 50 lb chihuaua, if they are that aggressive at 8 lbs can you imagine what a 50 pounder would do to a neighborhood kid.

they think they're 150 pounds, my sister has two rottweillers, and one of them is scared of my chihuahua with a gimpy leg

  9. I have known a ton of people that have done this...

Let's apply some common sense here, folks.

    Fad.

I've never bought into the "toxins" building up... after my husband had to have a colonoscopy... and the doctor showed me the films and video of the colon...clean as the inside cheek of your mouth! That was the height of colon cleansing....no need, there is not build up...the body works just fine to protect you.

After that I really subscribe to the idea of healthy eating of fruits, veggies, and minimally processed food. I cook most things from scratch so I know what is in our food.

I had heard about that being done every other day with the every day eating fresh foods, low calorie. The sugar...or honey, or maple syrup... was to trick the body metabolism so it would not think it was being starved, so the metabolism would not slow.

The person I knew doing this in 2007 through some fancy spa/health resort ... she did not loose weight or become "less toxic." In fact her daughters had to take her to the doctor because the "problems" the spa said this would treat got worse. It was arthritic swelling and pre diabetic, along with some infection.

I don't think that sounds good for you, or your organs to be honest.

As tough as this must be to stay on, I would think there is a healthy eating plan that would be easier on you and easier to follow, that would also help you develope new eating habits...so you do not feel toxic?

    :clapping:

  10. I'm on there. Just got my husband to sign up recently. At first he didn't like it and preferred myspace. Now one of the groups he's joined on facebook is Facebook Anonymous.

  11. I forgot to just go to the courthouse instead of spending the money on a day I couldn't really enjoy. I didn't have time to eat except for some of my sister's (who got to go out and eat) leftover salad. My mom ended up having to bring my dress and everything to the church for me because decorating took longer than I had planned. She brought my sister's panties instead of mine (wouldn't have been an issue if she wasn't a few sizes larger). I didn't remember to pack any clothes for my wedding night either.

  12. One of my friends actually mounted her laptop to her treadmill so she'd be walking while she surfs the 'net. Sometimes she's walking on that thing for 4 hours. She doesn't go very fast either.

The guy with the mask was exactly how my husband was with our kids. He actually put on a respirator once though.

  14. Puppy, there has already been a case like this already where the rancher lost his ranch to pay court orders resitutions to illegal immigates who were detained on his property. The rancher also held them for the border patrol, and was sued for unlawful imprisonment. That is why i say we need the real fence with real guards with permision to shoot. Civial rights are for citizenss and legal immigates and visators

    Tee hee....you called him "Puppy".
