I may have to pop in there today. I am needing books on just this subject . The ballet studio my daughter attends is just around the corner from The Bookworm and I keep meaning to come in there.

After replacing all of our incandescent bulbs in the basement with CFL's, we thought our electric bill would be less. Instead, it went up. Also, the light they produce is not pleasant to me. What is so wrong with giving people a choice about which product they would like to use?

Warehouse of Hope is off Hwy 92 on Hunter Road. Go South on Hwy 92, go through the light at Brownsville Road and Hunter Road is your first left. 2nd Bldg on the right is the Warehouse of Hope. I believe they will be open tomorrow also until 8:00pm. They are taking donations of toiletry items and clothing.

I just got an email from West Ridge about The Warehouse of Hope needing clothing donations. Does anyone know where this is? Is it actually at West Ridge? I have a few bags of clothes I'd like to take today. Just want to be sure of where it is.

I was excited until this morning. My daughter (6) woke me up this morning wanting breakfast. When I didn't jump right out of bed to get it for her, she decided she'd do it herself. She had managed to warm up a pancake in the toaster and was looking for the syrup when I came to the kitchen. Then, after her little brother woke up, she thought it would be a good idea to scream any time he touched her toys. The threat of no pool time seems to have curbed that for the time being though.

Its a bitter sweet thing with me, I will enjoy all the summer activities and sleeping in some, But the constant nagging about being bored all the time and the constant eating will drive me crazy. I love my kids dont get me wrong on this. I enjoy them in the summer but the minute they are not doing anything that is when it starts.

If you have $4,500, get her a $4,500 car. Don't get a loan of any kind. Teach her a life without debt. That would be the greatest "gift" you can give her. She can save up money and trade up later.

How was the curious case of Benjermin Buttons. I was thinking about buying it today.

 

It was O.K., but not something I would buy. I agree with one reviewer from when it first came out who said it's pretty much an inferior Forrest Gump.

My son and his friend dress as Dumb and Dumber. I am alittle embarassed to show these pictures. They had a blast though and they were the hit of the party!!
