Yes and at 278 and 92 in the fork of the road was Petty's Store and across the street is where everyone used to wash and dry their own clothes. The bus used to run by there and pick people at Petty's. Where Walmart is now used to be a trailor park. Where Dell Taco is now . Right behind it used to be a Drug Store.

Just thought i would start a new topic so we want be a Highjacking cmgjeep's topic of the McDonald's . So look back and remember the places you remember in Paulding over the years. Anything from the lemon Sour drinks from the drug store ,BenFranklind's store and the Sporting Good's store with the Toy store on the top floor. I would love to read your story's about Paulding County. So what you got that you can share? Give me your memories around town. O and by the way sorry if we highjacked your post a little cmgjeeps.

Does anyone remember the grand opening of the McDonald's back in the day?When they had Ronald McDonald show up for the event. Dang i think all of Paulding was there on that little corner that day.LOL Before we got any of the restaurants posted .Did you know that the Hickory Hut was one of the first. They have been here since the early 60's.

I was a cashier at the Walmart .Moved up to Service Desk and then to Layaway. Wow! wonder how many P.commers passed my way back then?

Yes he is right on that one. It was a white house. Lady Raider we had two sit down restaurants back in the day. Vaughn's was the other one. Lady Raider do you remember the Tasty Dog or Foster's ?lol

Boy this takes me back. I have ate at all of these place's. I also remember Vaughn's which is now the Brair Patch restaurant. Now those were the days.
