I was listening to this on the scanner yesterday, but was at work so I only heard parts of it. When the call first came in, it was for a suicide attempt, with the method being alcohol and pesticides. I took a few phone calls at work and turned my volume back up, and suddenly hear them calling for swat and everything, at the same address. I don't know what happened in between. Sorry

No idea. Next week is the Ride Against Meth, but I don't know about today.

Burgundy Expedition just left New Georgia store. Driver was holding a baby in her lap while driving off.

Complainant at the McDonald's stating was assaulted by someone in a white Ford F-150. Truck is occupied by 2 white males. It only has a date tag in the window behind the passenger. Tag says 6-18-07. Truck fled the scene headed S on 61

I have an update on this. I later found it the man who hit the church, is the grandfather of one of our drivers. His blood sugar bottomed out, and he passed out. He is going to be ok, but he has a broken collar bone, and cuts on his arm, and some other injuries.

They just said they are transporting one black male to the jail, so I assume they caught the guy. It's rough when your at work and can't listen constantly.

There is a bolo out for an intoxicated driver. He is a mexican male. I did not get all the info. While I was typing this, they just came back and said he has been spotted at the pharmacy drive thru at Eckerd's at East Paulding.

I think I just heard them say, "have them in route to the LZ at 11:38" I assume that means for the same call, but not sure at this time. Lifeflight is 2 minutes out. LZ is the fire station parking lot. Lifeflight requested patient information, and rescue responded that they didn't have any at this time. They just landed at the LZ

A 20 yof has attempted suicide. 84 Hiram Terrace. Method is a knife. Hiram just advised Clark's it is 10-4 to come in for patient rescue. Neighbor called this in. Clark's is transporting the lady to Paulding.

A vehicle has just hit the building of FBCD, driver seems disoriented. Caller doesn't know if driver is intoxicated or there is a medical problem. Doesn't appear to have any injuries. Vehicle is smoking. Rescue 1 is now on scene

They just said all units were going back in service except 122. I think he said unit 122 was taking a report. Sounds like it is all ok now Tink. Your family will probably call you in a minute

They ran the name Scott Edwards for warrants but there weren't any. Is that a name that is familiar Tink?

I agree with TC on this. The caller is a male, and says the dispute is between his mom and brother. He is the one advised that drugs were involved. Maybe it is a house or two away from your grandma's and they are just watching all of this take place.

Male called in saying his mother and brother are on drugs, and are having a dispute. Brother is threatening to kill him and his mother. Has a gun on him. Complainant is on the phone, sitting in his vehicle in the driveway. SO is responding location is 3994 Nebo Rd crossroad of Dallas Nebo

Indoor gas leak at 564 Davis Mill Dr in the Davis Mill Estates. Water heater exploded and is smelling like gas.

Wow. That is a large family. She sounds like she was loved and lucky woman. However, sad that she had to bury so many of her own children.
