I guess I am taking it personally bc I have a daughter who will be 10 this year and I can't imagine putting her through something like that. I think it's child abuse. whew, I need a drink!

if I didn't know she was pregnant until then, then what can you do? She can only have the kid.. We can 'what if' all day long, I'm not trying to argue over different scenarios, I can't understand the whole situation mentioned in the article. That would be a yes. Over and over again. Look, I am not saying I should be the one deciding on THIS girl, but I'm saying (again) why would that mother think it's a good idea for her 11 year old child to have a child?? Obviously it was okay in their house. Duh. It makes me sick and if it happened in this house we'd be at the dr's office so fast to terminate, your head would spin.

My point being it is a GIRL. A CHILD even. A parent has to make the choice for her, right? You don't automatically become an adult just because you are pregnant.

um, I don't care what the grandmother says, it was the first paragraph of the story. No, I think I'll be sick about it, and I do talk to my kids about sex, but thanks for the tip!

I didn't get a request but in searching for someone else I found her. She has all these pictures showing her "first" pregnancy and the happy life she has now, blah blah blah. All through high school she was pregnant and I think she had to give them up or something.. Just thought it was funny that this is the 'first' pregnancy that mattered, lol.

last week in my neighborhood there were 5-6 cars riding behind the bus so they could watch a fight that was supposed to happen when the girl got home. Good thing there were 4 or 5 popo arriving just after... Stoooooopid.

my dh is there now working on his fitness umm, my neighbor used it before, she was happy with it.

WELLLLL.... I made the mistake of texting my oldest sister in Iowa about it and she asked for her phone number.. Yup, she talked to her first and called me right after their convo. My lost sister, Fran, is going to call me soon but apparently only has a cell phone with limited minutes...
