I have only tried to cook pintos once and the result wasn't a good one. I have been told to cook them just like black eyed peas, but they don't seem to ever be done. Also, I want to use a ham hock(sp) which I have NEVER cooked with. Do I need all three pieces in the package, just one, what? Also, do I need to add bacon like I do with black eyed peas or is the ham hock all I need? And do I put an onion in them? Crock pot or stove top? Oh Lord, after seeing all these questions, I think I'll just open a can of Lucks and be done with it!! Help!

I got ANOTHER automated call at 6:28 this morning telling me that my childs bus was going to be delayed because of a split route. And AGAIN, I DON'T HAVE A CHILD THAT RIDES THE BUS. WTH?!?!

I watched about 20 minutes of this interview and I simply couldn't stomach it anymore. What an arrogant jerk. I know he did a lot in the cancer awareness arena, but his behavior certainly tarnishes anything he ever touched. And did all the HGH and whatever else he did cause his cancer? Me thinks so.

I'm the pickiest eater ever. Won't eat grapes because they 'pop' in your mouth like eyeballs. ACK!! I made chicken last week and it tasted fine, but because I made it and saw the ingredients, wine, oil, etc., I literally couldn't put a bite of it in my mouth. Most things that I don't like are because of the texture, not the taste so much.

Maybe they were just shopping then. And it is infuriating when most everyone else follows the rules and a handful don't. I have a handicap placard and 90% of the time I don't park in a handicap zone. But yesterday while at Adventure Outdoors, I parked 4 spaces out and a guy with no placard or tag of any kind zipped right in the handicap space and went in to do his shopping. JERK.

This was 2 or 3 years ago, but we got a long gun and a pistol cabinet at Dicks Sporting Goods for around $300.00 for both, but they were on sale. In addition, with all the panic about gun control, you're going to be hard pressed to find ANYTHING pertaining to the gun industry for cheap. They also have gun cabinets at Academy Sports.

Hubby always respected Mr. Cardwell and his consumer recommendations until he heard him endorse 'Mr. Sparky' on the radio. I even had a real live person call me about 3 weeks ago at 6:10am. Scared the devil out of me because who calls at 6 in the morning? He said, 'This is Mr. so and so at the bus barn and bus ??? is going to be 20 minutes late and a split'. It was really weird.

That one almost killed my youngest daughter about 5 years ago. They administered a drug to her that she had told them first thing that she was allergic to and she had a reaction that caused an ambulance trip, CPR and convulsions.
