Good Lord, here we go again, 14-17.

I think you should have to reapply every year or at the most 2. People can go bad in 5 years and if you are selling them a gun with a permit, there isn't background check. You show your ID and permit and off you go. There is paperwork and when you sign it, it is a federal offense to lie. But if not supposed to be buying a gun anyway, are you really going to tell the truth on the application? UUUUmmm, probably not. My favorite question on the application, 'Are you a fugitive from justice?'

It's not every year, they're good for 5 years. And I carry mine in my purse, not my pants, thank you very much!

I think your Pappy and I would have gotten along!
-
The first ones we got were $28.00, next ones were $63.00 and they're good until 2015. I'm sure there will an increase before then.

Go to the probate court in Paulding county, take ID and cash. I think it's $70-$75 dollars now. They'll take your prints electronically, you'll fill out paper work and then you wait for your permit to come in the mail. We waited for about a week the last time we got ours. Also, you stated it correctly, it's a 'carry' permit/license, not a 'concealed carry' permit.

al Qaeda spokesman urges terrorist to buy guns

My thought too. -
My post clearly stated DEALERS. I'm well aware of the private sale rules and any person selling a gun should ask to see a drivers license and carry permit of the person they are selling it to, even though it's not required.

I think the support he/she wants is on the compound he's creating in Idaho. Sorry, I'm out.

Should this be in the political forum? I love the way people continue to gripe about everything that they think is wrong with this country, but for the most part, all they are willing to do to change it is gripe on a public message board. How have you stepped up to the plate? Are you educated enough to run for any political office where change will actually occur or is it just easier to moan from the comfort of your own home, hiding behind your computer keyboard? Are you involved in your community? Chamber of Commerce? School board? Take action or cut the whining, it's sooooooo old.

You still have to have a background check to buy a gun at a gun show, unless you already have a carry permit. They do them right there on the spot. It's not like gun dealers aren't doing their job, they want it legal and as up front as anybody. If the check comes back clean, you get the gun, the same at a gun store. If it's not clean, no gun. What else are these dealers supposed to do besides what they are required to do by state law? Once again, the dealers and the law abiding citizens aren't the ones shooting people. More often than not, it's the thugs and the criminals who either stea

I was having the same kinds of issues and I bought a temper-pedic type foam pillow at Sams. The problems became WORSE for 3 or 4 nights because it was so firm, but on the 5th night, I slept like a baby and felt great when I woke up the next day. When we went to Washington in September, I left my pillow at the hotel we stayed at on the way up there and didn't realize it until we were in Washington, 4 hours away. After 2 nights without it, We had to buy another pillow for the rest of the trip and stopped by the other hotel on the way home to get my original one. Hubby has one now too!!

No problem! I understand, it did kind of sound that way.

No, her teacher is WONDERFUL, she just sees so many kids that are kept under the radar I guess she thought that everyone does it. It's actually her first year teaching special needs kids and Park has bloomed in her classroom. They cook every week, they have requirements like vocabulary words that sometimes seem too advanced, but it's a challenge that seems to be working. She even invited my daughters family out to dinner just to see how Park interacts in public. She expects more from them than just putting puzzles together and matching colors. I can't imagine being in your shoes at Kohls

Who would even want to know an 'adult' like that? Can you imagine being friends with such an evil, pig?
-
Luck. Plain and simple luck!!

My granddaughters teacher was talking to my daughter last week and asked what kinds of things we did with Parker. Daughter told her that Park does everything that all the other kids do, like go out to dinner, to the mall, to the park, grocery shopping, etc., her teacher seemed almost shocked. How else will she learn if she's not exposed to normal everyday things? Special needs children belong anywhere their parents see fit that they be, that jacka$$ in the restaurant needed to be out of then general population as far as I'm concerned. His wife must be so proud to be with a super guy like that.
