THANK YOU! People seem to think that bullets just disappear when you shoot in the air. A 4 year old boy was killed a few years ago on New Years eve while in church when a bullet came through the ceiling and hit him in the head. It had been fired by an idiot celebrating the new year. It's dangerous and foolish.

I have a better one than them not going when you offer a courtesy.......how about when they accept your kindness and then don't thank you? When someone lets me out, I wave and smile, pull out and then wave like a fiend in the mirror just to 'thanks'. When someone doesn't thank me, it makes me furious and I don't let anyone else out for a week!

OMG! I LOVE KC and the Sunshine Band. When I was pregnant with 5th grader, I took my then 14 year old daughter to see them and the Village People at Chastain Park on a HOT August day. It was SOOO hot, but we had a BLAST!!!!!!!! SOOOO.........basically anything by Bob Segar? I'm right there with you!!!

That sounds just like me when Hubby brought his first handgun home several years ago. To me, a handgun was for robbing a liquor store and the first time he racked the slide in the house, the sound almost made me faint. I'm totally serious, not kidding. Times have changed for sure. We love to go shooting, we love guns, rifles and handguns. If you take a class and learn from other responsible gun owners, you'll be surprised how comfortable you'll become around firearms. I realized one day about a year after we started shooting, that I was loading magazines, shooting at targets and reloading

Yummy! There was a recipe for Shepherds pie on here a while back and we LOVE it. Our new thing is, is to half the recipe and make individual meat pies with them. You can freeze them before cooking, pop them into the oven for about 15 minutes and the kids love them! The adults around here don't mind them either!!! Me neither. Hubby loves those little lamb pops, like little chops on the bone. YUK, too gamey for me.

This is sooooo stupid, an imaginary grenade? 5th grader uses imaginary weapons all the time. Swords, guns, rocket launchers, throwing stars, etc. We have become very aware of him doing this now and when we're in public, we nip it in the bud because you never know how people are going to react. He's a boy. He's 11. That's what most of them do. We've also made it clear that he shouldn't do it at school either.

That's an issue we have too, I said it after the first visit. When I saw the word 'fusion' on the menu I immediately thought, 'I think people around here want plain old, good Mexican food and whatever 'fusion' is, it doesn't seem to fit the bill'. I think I was too shocked to say WTH!! I'm glad Hubby wasn't with me, he would have left their chips and salsa on the counter and walked out. Which, honestly, is what I should have done.

We've been 4 times to eat in and once for take out. 2 times the food was excellent. 2 times the chips were so stale that you could fold them up. The time we got take out, we got a medium chips and salsa, small queso and 2 small cokes and it was $19.00, a little too rich for my blood. Especially considering that 3 of us ate in with full meals and drinks for $22.00. Weird.

I didn't miss it. Not taking the chance on having them double back.

I just heard on the news that tomorrow is his 6th birthday and the school is throwing him a party. It will also be a tribute to the slain bus driver who gave his life trying to protect his charges.

In my world, if you are in my home unlawfully, my life is at risk whether you are running away or not. Say you don't shoot when you have the chance while they're INSIDE your home and they turn around and fire on you instead. I'm sorry, I'm taking the shot. They shouldn't have been in my house. Eff 'em.
