I use my debit card for everything but I do like to keep a few checks with me because I have occasionally been stuck at a store when their machine was down.

well crap! sounds like it would just be easier to buy a new computer. Oh well, I can't complain too much since it was free.

My mom just gave us her old computer but she is a heavy smoker and it stinks!!! We wiped everything down with Lysol wipes but what else can we safely use to get the smell out.

I LOVE my LG front loader. I haven't had any problems with odors but I make sure I leave the door open and wipe down the seal after I'm done. We have only had it a few months but I have ran a tub clean cycle with bleach once a month.

CONGRATS To PCHS!!! My 7th grader is in band at Scoggins and we are looking forward to him continuing on with marching band when he goes to PCHS.

LPPT, Thank you for starting this post. I was diagnosed with depression several years ago but like many others I was embarrassed so I hid it. I would love to see more resources and a support group in Paulding.

The woman is a family member of mine and is still in critical condition. I do not have any info to share but she could use alot of prayers.

Thank you to everyone that offered advice about my first cruise. We finally decided on Cozumel I'm so excited. I do want to find out if getting the travel insurance is worth paying for . If we decided against it would our regular health ins. cover us if we got sick or hurt?

We will probably leave out of Mobile or Jacksonville because we don't want to have to spend alot of time driving. Carnival has one that goes to Cozumel and Calica. How's the beaches there? I'm planning on calling Cruise Planners sometime this week but I like hearing everyones personal experiences and advice.

I have narrowed down my choices to Bahamas or Cozumel. We haven't decided if we will go in Feb. or April. Which one would be better as far as weather, beaches, etc?

We did find out that an ipod touch is great in power outages They put off quite a bit of light. I did learn an important lesson to always make sure you know where all the flashlights are.

We did in Yorkville. Both boys were in the shower so it was real fun trying to quickly find the flashlights.

It definately is alot of information but has really helped. My mom is going with us but she lives in Florida so it makes it a little more difficult to try to plan. We already decided that we are going to use a travel agency to make sure we get everything taken care of.

The cruiselines have changed many of there casinos with regards to the smoke. They have put in better ventilation and on their newer ships, you don't have to go through the casino to get some place on the ship. On Princess Cruise Lines on their formal nights, there is NO smoking in their casinos. That's good to know. My super sensitive nose doesn't do to well around smoke.

Found out yesterday that I'm going to get to go on my first cruise so I'm pretty excited. I'm suppose to pick where and when but I have no idea where to begin. I know it will either be when the kids are out for spring break or the summer.

I do alot of surfing the internet and the kids use it for homework. I've always used a pc so I really don't know much about the macs. I've heard that there is less chance of getting a virus on them which is my main reason for considering it.

This is where we got my son's sax from. We pay $51 a month for the rental and insurance.If you decide that you want to purchase it in the future the payments that you have already paid goes toward the price.

Are the touch screen phones any good? Hubby is looking at getting the LG Ally but I want to get opinions on the touchscreens before we decide.
