Paulding For Me
I just heard that Charles Curl died late yesterday as a result of a tragic accident. Charles has been a great friend on mine for many years and I'm still in shock and lost for words to express my feeling about the tragic loss. Will you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers

mach4
fire911, I don't know the whole story. I was told that he was cutting trees where he is building a home and had a chainsaw accident. This is so sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
hjmscheer
he was cutting something and the chain on the chainsaw came back and cut him in the leg. He did call 911, but before they got to the hospital, he died. His brother came to career day at Herschel Jones Middle School and told us all about the pharmacy buisness. Paulding For Me
I've know Charles every since he came to Dallas quite a few years ago. I'm still shocked and lost for words but feel our community truly lost a valuable businessman. Charles has continued to run his business as a "small town pharmacy". He knew most of his customers by name, always had a pleasant smile, and even allowed customers to have a charge account at his business........try that at one of the major drugstore chains. Charles was as Jimmy Campbell was before him, a people’s person, and one that will be missed. I am truly saddened by this great loss and ask that you pray for his family and co-workers. akat71
My good friend called me today with the news...I was so saddened, Charles's daughter-in-law taught my child in elementary school. I am friends with Mr. & Mrs. Kim Curl (C & C Phamacy). My heart hurts for them. Charles was Mr. Kim's brother. The Curls' Family is in my thoughts and prayers..
West Metro Realty
We were eating out with my brother-in-law, Dr. John Sparti, and some other family that had come into town when John was called about the loss during the meal. We were all so upset, and we were all so shocked we had to just leave the restaurant. It is a tremendous loss. Our prayers are with his family. It is a sad day for Paulding County. What a gentle, kind soul he was. We can't express how sad we feel.

kindergarten rules
Does anyone know his funeral arrangments?
dawn923
I saw his name outside Eberhart. I'm sure if you call the obituary line that it will tell the arrangements.
West Metro Realty
When we called Eberhart's, we were told visitation with the family would start 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday and the funeral service would begin in the Eberhart Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, but please call to verify. I think we all have stories about the generosity of this man. My mother lived with us for twelve years and was on a fixed income. She was severely diabetic, had heart problems and many other problems. Charles allowed her to charge her medicine and pay whatever she could along the way. There were times when her bills mounted dramatically while she waited on her secondary insurance to kick in, which worried her. He always was quick to assure her not to worry. He was so very kind and gentle with her.

trish
To know Charles was to love him, and his staff as well. He was one of a kind in his profession. There aren't many like him around anymore. You could ask him any kind of question about your medication and he always patiently answered it for you. I hope his pharmacy stays open because I don't want to go anywhere else. I have lived all over this county and have always used Curl's Pharmacy regardless of the drive because of the personalized service My thoughts and prayers are with his family. xxyzxx
My prayers and thoughts are with this family. Charles helped my family so much and we are truly going to miss him. I can't ever remeber a time that I went into Curl's that he was not smiling. There were times that he knew what type of medicine we needed when the doctor's didn't and he always helped us in every way that he could. I hope the family can find comfort in knowing that he was loved, respected, appreciated and will be truly missed.
