ArtistGirl
Today's snowy circumstances have reminded me how PROUD I am to live in such a wonderful community. On my route home (which is typically under 10 minutes - ended up being 2.5 hrs), I witnessed SOOO many random people out in the streets helping push cars that were stuck, helping direct traffic, and volunteering restrooms in their homes. My heart is FULL. Thank you Paulding County! My personal shout out goes to all those assisting on Davis Mill Rd. and Hiram Sudie Rd. in Hiram. STAY SAFE AND WARM & let's continue to love and lift each other up (or push cars, or whatever!)

mhparker92
My boys were helping push cars at Davis Mill and Hiram Sudie. And, the bridge inspection guy with his HUGE duelie was pulling just about anything up the hill. Several other guys were pulling vehicles (including a bus) to where they could get moving on their own. HUGE shout out to the bridge inspection guy!! He was working his butt off - sliding around on the ice and then pulling away!!

SusieQ404
I saw lots of people getting out of their trucks and cars to help push cars. I saw them attaching tow ropes and pulling people out of ditches. Paulding County has some great, helpful people living out here.

JuliaG
My husband got stuck five times on his way home yesterday (twice, he slid into a ditch)... and five wonderful people helped him. So thankful we live in a place with so many kind-hearted people! BTW, my racist friend thinks it's because this is such a "white" area (eye roll). Please share your stories of non-whites helping people too so I can shove it in my friend's face!

Spencer T
The guys at the beginning of Acres Mill/Dabbs Bridge road.....a special thanks...you got me home. They went to each car.... told me to stay in the right ditch for traction and keep it in low gear......and it worked. Otherwise there would be quite a few more cars down there abandoned then there already were. It was so icy one of the guys fell twice going from his 4 wheeler to the cars...got up and keep going. Thanks again.
