N0 m0re sirens here, they are actually getting ready to leave it seems, coroner keeps coming in and out, or what I am assuming is the coroner, he is in a suit and tie, and has surgical gloves on.

This is so sad, his kids and grandkids are there, he has lots of heart problems, a few heart attacks. He hasn't been working on his antique car or walking lately so I was thinking maybe he wasn't doing well again.

I don't know. They never said his condition, and I never heard a call for the coroner - just an investigator. (I am at work and could have missed it.) I just know that one deputy responded to the accident @ Scoggins and Hwy 61, then left there when GSP arrived to go to Bob Hunton.

PS - While typing, the deputy went 10-8 from the ER.

Me either, I'm guessing it was fatal. I wasn't paying attention earlier to see if they took him in an ambulance or if they took him out another way. I'm not sure why a detective would have been there except maybe b/c there have been s many calls there, most for his health issues.

Because a shooting/death investigation is a major incident which is thoroughly investigated. You have to treat a sudden death, particularly one by violent means, as a potential homicide until proven otherwise.
