  1. Try Marietta Rhuematology. Dr. Abuaker is friendly and attentive. I use him for my gout. He is covered by BC/BS. I never have to wait long in the waiting room, a big plus for me.
  2. Watch the 10 o'clock news. A two year old "escaped" day care while the staff was in a meeting & a mom was supposed to be watching the children. Fortunately as the two year old was walking down the street, an alert woman who worked for another daycare saw the young tot collected him from the lanes of traffic and took him back because she knew he must have come from that school. Paulding SO & DFACS were called & responded. I know this because he was my GRANDSON!!!! How could this place be so irresponsible to allow a two year old unattended.
  3. I met the man who was in charge of all the training for Chik-Fil-A. I was a training project to teach all the associates to say "My pleasure" whena customer said "Thank you." So my question was, "What if the customer doesn't say "Thank you?" Then they don't have to say "My pleasure." Stupid little triva from yours truly!
  4. If you have children, make sure you visit the Steel Pier - just like an amusement park. Stayed at the Trump Plaza near there. Hotels rooms aren't really fancy like you think they would be. They want you in the casinos. I second the opinion of the town being rough - just one block away you will see. Keep car doors locked. Don't park with anything in sight inside the car.
  5. News reported instead of dye packs, banks are now using GPS trackers!! They'll be able to catch more of these scuzzbuckets now!
  6. Leaving home this morning around 5:15 and saw a helicopter flying low near Kroger on 278 @ 61 with search light going strong. Was it Lifeflight or search for someone? Need to know before children go to bus stop this a.m. Thanks!
  7. They came into Hampton Square Subv. looking for him/her. Drove around with spotlights looking in all the yards. My wife & I thought it was amotorcycle too, from the pitch of the engine. Wanted to call & let them know it was not in our cul-de-sac. Don't know outcome. Thought the car might have been able to ditch into a garage w/o being seen. Anyone else?
  8. Thought I try some casting at White Oak Park. Leftovers will go with me this weekend to Blairsville (Lake Nottely).
  9. Thank you, I'm actually very close to this!
  10. In need of some red wigglers. I know Wally World sells nightcrawlers, but I want the red wigglers - the small ones. Anyone know where in Dallas to go??? Thanx!
  11. Thanks everyone! I'll have the topic closed.
  12. I have someone coming to hopefully purchase a boat. If you are in the Downtown Dallas area and a notary, could you please call me at 404-217-5896. Thanks Keith
  13. Our office used Forrest Hills for off-site retreats. Food is good, home-cooked meals, but when we used the place, some of the buildiggs were a little run down. Some of the cabins are nice, but you probably can find hotels more reasonably priced. Just my opinion.
  14. You can pick your friends, not your family!! Or, it doesn't take all kinds, we just got all kinds! Good luck!
