Tears. Rest well, dear man. You will be missed by many, but none more than your sweet family.

Wow.

This site tells you all about how the powerline works. I would recommend Home Plug certified.

I am so sorry to hear this. Your Dad is a dear man with a huge heart, and I hate to hear that he's in such pain. I hope they can get it under control soon and he's back at home and on his computer, joining back in this community that loves him. You will all be in my thoughts!

Premium rib eye steaks on the grill with baked sweet potatoes. The potatoes are baking on the grill now, and when they are ALMOST done, the steaks will join them. YUM!

Oh...so that means it updates automatically? Well isn't that nice? I had no idea, because in fact, they are closed until Tuesday...but I was looking for their hours, and I thought that was a set time! Good to know...thank you!
-
Uhm...they might want to...look at that FB info? I went and looked, and beside business hours, it says, "Closed until Tuesday 11:00 am - 8:00 pm"... That's just...undecipherable...

You said "Republications"!!

Fred's Hostage Glad you're OK!

Because I'd love to but can't?

NOPE!! I moved to PC. And as much as I might sympathize with the OP...I'm living proof that it's not impossible to buy here. It was hard and often disappointing, but it wasn't impossible.

Are you even capable of making a post that doesn't allude to racism? Folks can disagree with PBO without being racists. JSYK. I know that must be a hard thing for you to conceive of. Sorry bud, but it's a FACT. Thanks.

TO THE OP: I have a home, on the Cobb/Paulding County line, that needs either a buyer or a tenant. PLEASE PM me if I might be able to help your loved one. It's a NICE home--new paint, new carpet, excellent mature landscaping, and we'd consider a lease-purchase. We haven't put it on the market yet, but will in the next week or so. PM me? Thanks!

I get that! I DO! There's at least one house we lost to a cash offer that just BROKE our hearts...we really wanted that place. But the place we got on the heels of that...is truly "our home." It was right...and I think we would never have found THIS place if we'd been fighting to get THAT place. That's just been my experience...with jobs and with houses...so maybe yours is different? But I know for me...for us...it didn't happen ever until it was the right thing. My thanks go to my guardian angels!

I hope you get your home this time!!! We were never up against investors, and like I said, we bid on a number of homes here. Like I have always been with any job I really wanted but didn't get, I have always believed that the door that was closed in my face opened the window to what I couldn't have imagined, and that has been true both in my professional life and in our home purchase. Disappointment is hard to deal with no matter where it comes from, but keeping your faith that better things are coming is priceless. Maybe I'm just a dumb log, but that attitude has ALWAYS worked fo

A-FREAKING-MEN!! In response to an earlier question (and no, I feel no obligation to supply links--Google is free--and EASY--), I could imagine so many better uses of that $444.1. Not that I think pre-school education is unimportant: I just happen to think that MAYBE educating moms to teach their pre-schoolers is a WHOLE LOT more valuable than paying for a TV program to do it. But that's just MY family values...TV can't replace parents, and there shouldn't be Federal funding to make it so. Sesame Street isn't a substitute for early childhood education in the home. PARENTS should a

We recently (back in June) bought a WONDERFUL home that went into foreclosure in PC. We probably bid on at least 6 houses before we scored on this one, and I agree, it was a difficult process while bidding and once we won the bid finally for the house we bought, but I never felt there was some big corporate monster who was coming in and screwing up our bids. It's a buyer's market, and smart buyers know that going in. It's NOT easy getting the place you love, but I'm an example that it's NOT impossible, and no EVIL investor is coming in trying to rip the rug out from under you, because

Attorneys for Mitch's parents hold Press Conference
TabbyCat replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Attorney Renee <GAGME> Rockwell says that Casey Anthony should be able to make money off of her murder case. Yeah, she's got the credibility of a freaking saint. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ9hmi71nDI -
Did *I* ever indicate that it wouldn't be spent elsewhere? You're correct: You can't have it both ways. You had an actual point, right? Maybe you could help clarify exactly what it was, because right now it's like a mud puddle--very murky and not very deep.

Well, I think you are probably proficient in Google searches, so than rather than doing it myself and posting links, might I just suggest a Google search on the term "PBS government funding"? I know you are smart ( ) and can read, so howsabout you do that research yourself? I ADORE Sesame Street. My own kids watched it, and I hope it never goes away for future generations. BUT...if I'm going to support ANY network, I'd like to make that choice. If CPB needs support, it should come from those who support its programming, and not be automagically deducted from the taxpayer's $. Whi

Not at all...I'd be DELIGHTED if that 444.1 million $$$ went to improvement of public schools. Find another cat to fight with...this one has no fight in this issue. I have opinions, and I have ONE VOTE...that's all I've got.
-
I don't know about everyone else, but I in no way think nor did I indicate that PBS should be shut down. I suggested the public support PUBLIC broadcasting through DIRECT donations.

I'm sure you read the link I posted above, but I'll post this anyway, for anyone who doesn't. From that article: "Symptoms include severe and worsening headache, nausea, dizziness and fever. Some of the patients also experienced slurred speech, and difficulty walking and urinating....The Food and Drug Administration identified the maker of the steroid as New England Compounding Center, a specialty pharmacy in Framingham, Mass. Last week, the company issued a recall of three lots of the steroid - methylprednisolone acetate." I hope he is fine!

In the 2012 fiscal year, CPB was given $444.1 million from our Federal budget. That's a lot of taxpayer $$$s. No one will take Big Bird away. He will be fine. So will Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Oscar the Grouch. If you support the CPB, send them money directly. They'll gladly accept your donations.

I guess by now most have heard about the outbreak of a rare form of meningitis that has now claimed 5 lives, with another 35 ill with the disease and according to reports, some are critical. The drug in question was shipped also to GA, though no reports of illness come from here YET. The shipments go back to June. I began having pain in July. They say incubation can be between 2-28 days. If it weren't for KP's Pain Management clinic being so backlogged, I would without a doubt have had an injection for pain management this summer and who knows? It very well could have been this contam
