  1. My cat did the same thing. He was diagnosed with diabetes.

I was about to say the same thing! our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and that was one of her first symptoms.

  2. I have volunteered there before and felt very unwelcomed. People would naturally ask me questions because I was back there with the animals. I never tried to answer the questions! I would always find a worker and ask them. The workers would always reprimand me for trying to answer the questions. I told them I NEVER tried to answer any questions which is why I was seeking out their help!!!!!! If I was trying to answer any questions would I really be trying to find them? No, I would just answer the question and go on and the workers would never know the difference but, I was trying to do the right thing. I believe in excellent customer service, which, is what I was trying to provide! Even if I was just volunteering I still believe in good customer service! The workers made me feel like I was bothering them by being there!

i have had the exact same experience!! do it for the animals and try not to let the workers get to you!! just know that the animals appreciate you even if the workers don't!

  3. they probably feel very safe around you and know that whatever they say or do to you that you will still be there. we always hurt the worst the ones that we love the most. if they were afraid of losing you they "might" think more about what they were doing.

i'm sorry you are going through this! i hope it gets better!

  4. they don't usually charge for doctor to doctor if they are sending you to the other provider. If you are requesting that they be sent for whatever reason then they may charge you for administrative cost-

  5. wow! I'm so sorry that happened to you. And, you are so right-- I'm sure she treats her students just as poorly! If she is willing to belittle a parent like that in front of everyone there is no telling how badly she makes her students feel! You should not be judged at all and certainly not on appearance! Others should be inspired by you-- here you have a disease that makes it difficult for you to do things- yet you got out and made sure to take your child to open house so that he could meet his teachers and get his schedule!! I work with a girl who said if it rained she would not take her boys to open house because she did not want to get wet!

  6. OMG! I should sooooooo back out of this thread - I'm far too opinionated on the subject.

RaceGirl is telling herself to back away from the keyboard - I feel some bullets headed my way!

Must.... Not..... Say....... Anything....... Stop..... Before...... Foot......Ends....Up......In.......Mouth.......

i'm with you! i am just going to back away slowly and turn and run like the wind!!!!!!

  7. PCP's don't usually have your blood type- unless they have specifically done some type of testing that would require it-- not part of typical blood testing like for thyroid, cholesterol, etc...
