  1. I have had Nokias....they are as basic as basic can be. I don't like them.

    I have a Rzr now...I hate it.

I do like Motorola features, and the layout of the phone. I mean, as far as how you operate it; getting to menus and different functions.

I like Sony's to, but I have never owned one. An XBF had one I used a lot.

my daughter, sister, and boss all had razors and hated them too!

I have no idea about the other phones! Good luck-- sounds like you deserve a new phone!

    Shooting Incident in Paulding County

    October 16, 2008

(Paulding County, GA) The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office responded

to a shooting incident at 1082 Hitchcock Rd. Dallas, GA at

approximately 6:35 a.m. involving a male victim in the driveway. The

victim was taken by helicopter to an Atlanta area hospital. The

victim’s condition appeared to be stable on the scene.

The shooting occurred in the victim’s driveway as he was getting in

his vehicle to go to work. The investigation has not yet revealed if

this act was random or a targeted act against the victim. We are at

the very early stages of this investigation, and the detectives are

working vigorously to piece together the moments leading up to and

    surrounding the incident.

The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time until all family

and friends can be notified. We will update members of the media as

appropriate when additional information is gathered and confirmed.

Please direct question surrounding this incident to Cpl. Brandon

    Gurley, Public Information Officer.

prayers definitely going out to this gentleman and his family--

just a quick question- it says it is not revealing the identity yet- but it gave the address and you can go on whitepages.com and do a reverse look up and get the name of the people that live there- i guess not the exact victim. anyway-prayers said!

  3. my brother had a corvette at 15 -- never wrecked and never drove like a maniac either. i had a camaro and the only wreck i had was backing into something which just bent my tailpipe- i never drove like a maniac either.-- once i got married and had my daughter and had a 4-door sedan- that's a different story LOL.

good luck to your son- sounds like he has made you very proud!

  4. ok let me know if you need me to go look at it for her 404-444-0289

she had to have someone bring her to work today- so she won't be home until around 5:30. can she still reach you at this number at that time?

    thanks again so much!!

  5. i wasn't sure what forum to post this in- but a friend of mine's car door won't shut on her driver's side- does anyone make house calls or know how she can fix it---she obviously can't drive it anywhere to get it fixed and needs to know who can come out to her house to fix it-- she drives a gmc jimmy

    thanks!!

  6. Thank you so much for the information. I did find the website and have made an inquire about Otis. We do take very good care of our animals and we would never take it to the shelter. Ours are chiped and vetted. Maybe that comment just hit me wrong. I just hate to see people spin their thoughts when they do not know the lengths we have gone through just to be able to have our pets. We are loving people and my last dog I had was a mixed breed and I had her for 16 years before she died and they are just part of the family. Family takes care of our dogs while we vacation and the border collie goes with us on vacation as did the 16 year old. My daughter is having a real tough time right now and asking for a pug while going throug unemployment is not something we expected, but we would love to be able to get her one, and hopefully the unemployment will not last much longer. Thanks for careing.

I hope it works out for you guys! I can't imagine what you must be going through with the unemployment- but I pray that things will get better for your family! And, I hope you get Otis and he brings years of enjoyment to your family!

  7. Do you have a website of the Cherokee Pet Rescue or a phone number? Would love to check into this one. Thank you so much for careing. Unlike others I have seen posted.

i went on petfinders.com and put in pug- i don't see a telephone number but they did have this email Email: wittle13@yahoo.com.

    I hope this helps!

Don't take people wrong- I think that people on here are really big pet lovers and they just want to make sure that you're not going to end up taking one to the shelter because your child tires of the dog-- it is a big problem here in Paulding County I think. I think most mean well with their concerns, maybe it just comes across as harsh. I have volunteered at the shelter before and seen people just come in and drop off their pet of 6+ years because they just couldn't keep them anymore for various reasons. It's heartbreaking to see that.

My daughter was just a tad older than yours when we got our pug for her. They are the best dogs for children. I don't know if you have ever had one before- but if you haven't and you do get one- I think you will be happy with that breed.

I hope this works- here is a picture of Otis

  8. -_-

Sorry, but there are few things that I, personally, feel wrong with the above statement...

    1) a 8 YO doesn't need an animal for a gift, IMHO. What happens when they get "sick" of it? So many animals end up in rescues/shelters because people get them for children.

    2) Looking for an animal while you "can't pay alot for it" is also not a very good idea. A puppy is going to need 1-4 vet visits for vaccinations, deworming, another visit for spay/neuter. These alone are probably close to $400 worth of bills.

Hopefully you will reconsider because a 8 YO is "begging" for a pug. Family pet, maybe...8 YO begging, nope.

I guess it depends on your child. My daughter begged for a pug when she was 9 and we got her one. She was very good about taking care of him- she is now 16 and still takes very good care of him!

however, i do agree with the second part of your concerns. if you can't afford one you certainly shouldn't get one. They are like children- you have to feed them, take them to the doctor, etc... and pugs require a lot of attention and companionship!

  9. Otis

I don't know how much they want- but this one is at the cherokee pet rescue!

  10. Looking for a pug puppy for a Christmas gift for an 8 year old girl who is a dog lover and begging for a pug. Husband is out of work and can't pay alot for it, if anyone knows of someone who might have one.

I don't have one for sale- but I do have one! You will just absolutely love it. Ours is absolutely the sweetest thing ever!

Good luck on finding one- I will keep my eyes and ears open!

  11. I started to order the Peticure thing, too, but I read some pretty bad reviews on it. It's probably like a lot of mail-order products....some people will have good luck with it and some will not. Please let us know what you think when you get it. We have a Golden Retriever who hates for us to even touch his feet, so we expect trimming nails will be a challenge. His haven't been trimmed in a while, and we know we need to do something soon.

we have one and it is wonderful!
