No one was depending on the govt. to do anything other than to make the decision to let everyone go EARLIER rather than LATER (which we have recently learned, is possibly the result of an ulterior motive concerning the govt. not wanting to spend the extra money and the schools holding the kids until noon, so they would not have to make up the day!). I've been impressed with Paulding and Douglas County's Sheriff's Dept but the local police depts. are not quite as impressive. I hope the Hiram Police Dept. can keep their "stuff" together, so as not to be compared to the former Powder Springs and the current Douglasville Police Depts...
