  1. I did see a movie where the plot of the movie revolved around a man bag. ... The whole movie was in Korean, so I may have totally misunderstood the plot line.

LOL I was just about to ask what movie it was

I want a man bag. I just don't want one the size of a laptop. I'm tired of stuffing my pockets and having multiple bulges in my pants and my pants being weighed down by my wallet, phone, camera, keys, gum and any other crap I may want to carry with me. Now that's it's cold out, I've been stuffing the pockets of my jacket with all of my crap.

  2. I know I'm a post killer but come on people, can't I even have a say??????? <_<

It's okay, we all know old people get forgetful :p

  3. For me the key to ebay is for me to decide what I want to pay for something. You have to include shipping with your final price. I don't usually bid on something that has outlandish shipping charges. I usually put in my maximum bid and just check from time to time. I have won and I have lost, but most times the same item will come up for bid again (most times from a different seller). I have never bid on something and paid too much. I set my max and leave it there. Ebay auto bids for me, most times it's just something I want not something I need. ;)

That is how to buy on eBay. I decide how much I am willing to pay for an item, and bid the maximum amount. If I am outbid, they can pay more and I'll find the item in another listing. I always look at the shipping & handling charge and include that in the maximum price I want to pay, and alter the maximum bid accordingly.

As a seller, I often see people bidding who apparently don't understand the concept of automatic bidding. They keep placing incremental bids because they are automatically outbid. On the eBay listing, it says to place your maximum bid.

  4. I for one cannot believe more men do not carry these purses. I would be lost without my purse.

I have been wanting a man bag, but haven't found one small enough. All the ones I've seen are too big! I want one the size of a fanny pack. I don't like having my pockets stuffed full, weighing my pants down, but I don't want to carry a briefcase, either. For the last several months, I've been carrying my stuff to work in a small plastic grocery bag.

  5. I like the original version from 4-5 years ago. Apparently they remade the song to make it Star94 friendly, as the original would have several bleeps. The music sounds different, too.

  6. Who do you think assigns addresses?

The city/county. The post office just delivers the mail. Believe me, it's a hassle we have to go through when a newly-constructed house gets an even street number on the odd side of the street.

Several years ago Paulding County changed everyone's street number to be a measurement in feet from the start of the street for the 911 system. This was a quite a headache for the local post offices. The houses on some streets had three different street numbers within a couple of years.

  7. Jump 4 Joey is located off of Cleburne Pkwy off of 278. Some of our customers end up in Marietta and others end up off of Ridge Rd. using their GPS. Why can't GPS ever find our building??

It's crazy that your customers get misdirected to so far away. Either they don't know how to operate their GPS unit, or they never update it. I update mine at least once a month. (Just connect it to the computer and run the software.)

Here's the location that my TomTom shows when I browse the map of the route:

Because the post office is years behind on updating the addresses here in Paulding.

What the heck does the post office have to do with updating addresses and GPS? The post office has nothing to do with it.

  8. Hummm, not really. You have to have either a router or a switch. You know that little box that your Internet provider provided so you can get on the Internet.

Ya mean the modem? The router connects to the modem. So ya either have to be connected to the router or directly to the modem.

I've had my D-Link wireless router for almost 5 years. When I have trouble with my connection, I turn off the router for a few seconds. If that doesn't work, I'll turn off the modem for a few seconds. As a last resort, I'll reboot the computer. If that doesn't work, I'll throw something in anger and find something else to do.

  9. You have the option of taking the automatic deduction credit or itemizing your deductions. It is to your advantage to itemize if the amount of your itemized deductions is greater than the default automatic deduction.

Your itemized deduction replaces the automatic deduction credit.

  10. I am very thankful that my employer pays for the majority of my healthcare premium. I just calculated the amount I will pay in 2009 to be only 13.5% of the premium.

I had Kaiser HMO but I just switched to the United Healthcare Consumer Driven Health Plan for 2009, costing me $20.98 biweekly (self-only).

If you don't expect to spend much money on healthcare (besides paying the premium), look into a High Deductible Health Plan or a Consumer Driven Health Plan and take advantage of a Health Savings Account or Health Reimbursement Arrangement.
