  1. My boys and I are going to get a couple of terra cotta flower pots and paint them and put each of their hand prints on them and pot a small flower for my mother and MIL. I got the idea from www.familyfun.com. I also have my mother a little keepsake book called "Why a daughter needs a mother".

  2. Move to Atlanta, they have MARTA, Cobb also has a bus system . . .

 People move to Paulding for a certain way of life, it doesn't include having a monorail fly overhead!

Best reply I have seen in a while!

so you never go anywhere? wow!

Please, enlighten us as to how you travel!

  3. I saw the news story last night at 11:00, but I did not recognize his pic at the time. Sadly, I know exactly who he is. Believe it or not, as a teenager, I always thought he was very good looking and wondered why he was not married at that time.

The WSB reporter quoted the Douglas County Sheriff saying any man that is trusted to wear an officers uniform and does something like this, Hell ain't hot enough for him! Amen to that!

  4. We are going to my parents' house to eat pizza from Papa John's. Get to see my family, and I don't have to cook!!!!

    What's everyone having?

Change of plans! Were all going to the new Stevie B's in Douglasville!

  5. VERY INTERESTING-

    1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq.

    2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

    3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.

    4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq

    5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

    7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

    8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.

    9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

    10. Amos cried out in Iraq!

    11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.

    12. Daniel was! in the lion's den in Iraq!

    13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq

also as the fourth person in the Fiery furnace!)

    14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

    15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

    16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

    17. The wise men were from Iraq

    18. Peter preached in Iraq.

    19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which was a

    city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often mentioned

in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq! However, that

is not the name that is used in the Bible The names used in the Bible are

Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia . The word Mesopotamia means between

the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name

Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in

    the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated it

    than Iraq.

And also, This is something to think about! Since America is typically

represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome

Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and

lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the

wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

    (Note the verse number!) Hmmmm?!

  6. Call this attorney if you do not have one already. Adam Jett, 770-942-5429. Ask for Theresa & she will give you some info over the phone (she's my mommy  ) She has worked for divorce attorneys her whole adult life, & at this place for 20 years or so. She'd be glad to help you & answer any questions you have. They are excellent attorneys, but a little costly. Still, info over the phone is free and she will help you out. Tell her Brandi said to call her & you "know" me from Paulding.com. ;) Good Luck!

Adam Jett is a good attorney. My mother is an attorney in Douglasville and she would recommend him. He represented my son's father in in our child support/visitation case back when it was all set up.

  7. I wouldn't call myself a "busy body", but my best friend and I (you know who you are) spend ALOT of time talking about others. I would say it is usually out of pure boredom and/or jealousy most of the time. Neither one of us are the type to gossip about someone and then turn around and tell the person though, two-faced I guess you would call it. We just gossip between the two of us!

  8. I personally think it is just your mind's rambling of recent thoughts.

I dreamed last night that I met Mr. Sarcastic. Don't ask me why. In my dream he was a big guy (stocky with kind of a gut) and he bleached his hair platinum blonde and spiked it on top. I have never seen him, so this was a total made up person. He was very friendly, outgoing, and had his own business (a convienence store). The only reason i could figure that I dreamed it was a friend of mine on here met someone the other day that is related to him somehow and I found out what his real name was.

  9. I am a store brand JUNKIE!! The only thing I will not buy store brand is stuff that my kids refuse to eat (i.e. Poptarts) because "it doesn't taste the same". My husband used to work with a guy who had worked for Mayfield Dairies and he told my husband that Wal-Mart milk was nothing but Mayfield milk in a clear jug. Mayfield milk cost twice as much as Wal-Mart milk.
