What Can Some People Do To Go Up In Class
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Ann Hopkins finally did fare really well. The Supreme Court remanded the case to the district court. On remend, judgment was entered in favor of Ms. Hopkins against Price Waterhouse. The court ordered Price Waterhouse to admit Ms. Hopkins as a partner retroactive to the time she was denied partnership (July 1, 1983), and to pay her her a back pay of $371,175.00, along with her costs and attorney's fees of $422.460.00. -

People who make choices of this nature will not be making any choices that have any affect on me. It's like my post about Joe Camel with Cancer of the Hump. Old Joe wan't be making any choices regarding my Hump. I don't have to be concerned about this girl making any choices that affect me, because she is too young. Thanks for the choice suggestion, adult! That is the correct answer to the problem. I am an advocate to legalizing Marijuana. It will help the law start focusing on other drug dealings, like Criytal Meth. -
I have put my trust in people who smoke Camel's, and other brands of cigarettes. But, I have come to realize that somebody that would do their own Hump that way should not be trusted with anything to do with my Hump.

I'm Wondering If Teachers In Georgia Are That Bad
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'll tell you what I think. I don't think teachers, in Georgia, are as corrupt as the people who are gutting funding for the Georgia the ethics board. I think these people are trying so hard to get Sears, and other corrupt organizations, to move their head quarters here that they intentionally gutted funding from the ethics board. -

What IS in your wallet? Are you ashamed to let it be known, or do you not want people to see your stash? -
Consider this inconsistency associated with civility in Americas social networking. (Inflammatory comment removed.) Here is a true story from a college law book (Contemporary Business and Commerce Law), which I studied during my educational research. Not only have females long been discriminated against, but employment certainly shows how a woman still struggles for equality. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a federal statute, prohibits sex discrimination in employment. But, the "glass ceiling" is still preventing women from reaching the highest employment posi

If Georgia is gutting it's ethics commission; why should we expect any better school ethics, peanut butter plant ethics, and/or sugar plant ethics? Like I have said before, Georgia is gutting its ethics commission at the same time a neighboring state (Alabama) is providing more funding for theirs. No wonder corrupt organizations like Sears are interested in doing business in GA.

This hasn't just became a problem. The problem is decades old. What's in your wallet?

I like this one, bigsky! Confucius say, "12 months of drinking low-calorie beer is 1 Lite year."

Confucius was born in 551 B.C.E. A philosopher of life and government, he hoped that his moral Way would essentially restore to Chinese society the values and practices of the age of the duke of Zhou, a twelfth-century B.C.E. leader whom Confucius deeply admired. For his efforts, posterity accorded him the elegant title Kong Fuzi (Kong the Philosopher), which Western scholars have Latinized into Confucius. He died in 479. http://teachers.sduhsd.k12.ca.us/tpsocialsciences/ap_wld.../confucius.htm Bin Franklin said several things that Confucius had said thousands of years before

I have more respect for Confucius than I had growing up. I thought he was a simple joker. In fact I have discovered that the Chinese people are not jokers, but are very serious people in general. Confucius say: "If one wants to know the real value of money, he needs but to borrow some from his friend." Is that the reason we borrowed money from the Chinese? Did we want to find out the real value of it? Confucius also say, "Never argue with a fool...he may be doing the same thing."

That's great. She was found guilty of the right offense. The jury was as fair as they could be, in this case. This is my opinion, of course!

Chinese women buy more whisky and fast cars than their western counterparts. McKinsey says women in China are increasing their spending on luxury goods twice as fast as men, prompting western companies to try to understand what makes Chinese women tick. The rise of women entrepreneurs – more than half the world’s richest women are Chinese according to Hurun Report – is propelling their share of luxury spending. ”In China, women are ambitious … so they will buy more ‘high powered’ products than women in the US or Europe,” says Tom Doctoroff, greater China head of JWT, the advertising age

Where Is The Ethics? If Sears Comes To Georgia
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That's a fact, ivy! At the same time Alabama stepped up funding, for its ethics commission, Georgia gutted theirs. Critics say political interference gutted funding for Georgia's ethics commission, costing one of its two staffers her job, and costing the director much of her salary. Alabama started funding their ethics commission even more than it had already been funding it. http://www.11alive.com/.../Alabama-ethics-reform-could-be-a-model-for-... - Go to 11 Alive and pull up story written Doug Richards, on June 21, 2011. -

Thanks, ivy! Your are right. But finding fault was not hard for me to do, because this was as plain as the nose on my face. I just happened upon this story when I was studying Business & Commerce Law, at the same time Sears was saying they were interest in GA. as a place to move to. Just like you, I've heard numerous reports of this kind of fraud. I am just wondering what GA. needs with more freaudulant Businesses. Why does a state where a sugar plant blew up, because of excess sugar dust that could have been controlled, and killed a bunch of Georgians nd, a peanut butter pla -
Contemporary Business & Commerce Law Book

I am a firm believer in the things that I study. I am a very focused person upon what I study. If I find something to be of no interest, I stop focusing on it. Nevertheless, I study things that I don't agree with, as well as things I do agree with! Education is the main thing. I try to educate myself as much as possible. I have trouble educating myself, because my brain is not as masterful as Albert Einstein's brain was. But, I do my best. With that said, I want to apologize for any mistakes I make in trying to communicate the truth about things with my friends and family. -

I will take your criticism under consideration, Mrs. O, like I always do. But, just because I take it under consideration doesn't mean I am not just as entitled to my opinion as you are of yours. I appreciate criticism more than I appreciate things that seem to come from a person's teeth out. It means more to me. Nevertheless, my emotional outburst may come before a real understanding has been considered. Thank you, Mrs. O! -
Mr. Cheeseman says: "Although my name appears on the cover of this book, it is no longer mine alone." If I borrow something from Mr. Cheeseman it is because he has taught me well. I don't think he will be upset with me for forgetting to give him credit. I think he understands that I studied his book in college. He would be proud even without the credit, that I trusted in his findings, and research, that lead to his wonderful book. If other people are upset with me, for what I learned from Mr. Cheeseman, I apologize for upsetting you. But, I feel that most things people need to know, t

Where Is The Ethics? If Sears Comes To Georgia

Absolutely, Jet! The wages will be cheaper for Sears, and the money will be rolling in to pay those cheap wages with. If I did business like Sears, I would certainly be interest in coming down South, to Georgia. I think Texas will lose the bid. Georgia will, in my opinion, will get the jobs. Alabama is not even being considered, They fund their ethics committee. -
I don't think you have to concern yourself with hope in regard to LPPT's demeanor, or abilities, Mrs. O! In my opinion she is quiet capable of her own hope, understanding, well being, business ethics, or anything else she involves herself with. But, I'm sure she appreciates your concern.
