  1. During the Civil War, where the slave population was more plentifal it was less likely for our forefathers to believe that it was a "rich man's war, poor man's fight" (RMWPMF). If I had been around that would have been my belief. Those Southerners who didn't have to fight because they owned slaves loved King Cotton. I wouldn't have gave a damn about King Cotton. I would have been fighting for my loved ones. "Many southerners called the Civil War "a rich man’s war and a poor man’s fight." The Confederacy instituted a military draft in 1862, but included many exemptions that allowed the
  2. It seems to me that Polk county, like Bartow, has more restect for their residents. All Paulding county does is "Sock It To Em." I remember when Paulding county stopped allowing its citizens to be able to dump their trash for free. And, when the cost for getting rid of your trash went up, and up, and up. Let me tell you, that Wast Management group of people love Paulding county. They like to make money, aqnd give kick backs.
  3. Paulding county officials just don't give a damn. They like to collect taxes, fees, and fines, while citizens pay their expensive Waste Mannagement bills. Paulding county officials like for you to throw trash in the wrong place. They can say "got you" "you would have been better off paying the big ol Waste Management Truck to hall off that trash.
  4. You're right, and you should indeed not get thrown out of a bar, drunk. But, cops should be arrested for assault when they kick a restrained woman in the head. The other cop is guilty of not doing his job. We pay for better protection than that. He saw the man kich the restrained woman after she touched him with her foot. Even private citizens are better, in a bar situation, than some drunk cops. This man is a SOB, with or without a badge. Here's his mug shot, after he was arrested.
  5. I like Bartow county's way of being able to take your trash to the dump. That might even help trash dumpers have another choice. It seems to me that Paulding county loves their expensive Waste Management service, and couldn't care less about people dumping trash in places other than the dump. The Mashell is paid to criminalize the violators, and more money comes in from that function. Think about it. Money talks, in Paulding county, and Bartow county BS just walks.
  6. Instead of collecting money from citizens, who are in violation of some reasonable ordinance, there should be a period of community service alotted for the violation.
  7. I'm curious as to what common citizens think about this. What if this woman was your mother, or sister, or some other loved one. She drank to much at the bar, and needed to be restrained. Would this blue life matter to the point of respecting it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why do people put up with this BS? I mean the woman needed to be reswtrained, but she just touched the cop with her foot. He was not in fear of his life, or in any kind of danger, There were other options, and one wou
  8. I even like them. Thanks, R M!
  9. Thank you guys! You do know your rights. The only thing is there should have been reasonable suspission, if there was no probable cause. The cop really did blow it when he said the guy usa probably hiding something sense he refused to show his ID. Awareness is what you two have, but there may be a lot of P.commers who was not aware until now.
  10. Do you have to identify yourself, to a police officer, before you are told what his/her reasonable suspion is that you are in violation? Can he/she claim you are probaly guilty of something, if you refuse to identify yourself? Can he/she arrest you for simply refusing to ID yourself?
  11. I lust love Brian's inspirational video, which he posted yesterday. But, our cameras are not safe for us to have, sometimes. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG-IUvbxa24
  12. Thanks, Bouquet! You are right. People are already kind of like a rich man's robot. Even back in the horse days people were used and abused, by the cotton barrons, steel barrons, and oil barrons. But, together we stand. We just have to not be cattle, and sheep, and stand on two feet instead of four.
  13. Good man, Brian! That reminds me of somethung you'de do.
  14. Stonewall would have fought in the place of Licurgus Rees, who didn't have to fight in the Civil War because he owned 15 slaves, Below is the 1864 law:
  15. The Chinese were here 150 years ago, buiilding railroads. Many of them are berried on the side os the railroads. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Did you know that sense the human genome was mastered that DNA has shown an interesting discovery? The average African-American genome, for example, is 73.2% African, 24% European, and 0.8% Native American
  16. South Carolina started the war, Stonewall! War is hell, and Georgians wished it on South Caroplina when they told Sherman this: "Many and many a person in Georgia asked me why we did not go to South Carolina; and, when I answered that we were en route for that State, the invariable reply was, "Well, if you will make those people feel the utmost severities of war, we will pardon you for your desolation of Georgia." - William T. Sherman
  17. That started in Mississippi, in and around Jones County, when the Confederates started taking food from the Free State Of Jones. Sherman was more leanent than the Confedetrates, on women and children.
  18. I watch every Civil War episode that hits TV, or Youtube, jenilyn! Here is another one I liked, esperchley with Matthew McConaughey playing in it.
  19. It wasn't too contrary to fact, E Z! It was just part of the tactic. There are a lot of P.commers who don't know Spanish.
  20. Rocky Faced Ridge, 80 miles north of Atlanta, is where Georgia gets in on the War.
  21. I already mail order all my prescribed drugs, I just go punch the key pad, and they come in the mail, in about tnree days. I do have the option of going to any localn pharmacy, with a prescription from my doctor, however!
  22. So you are saying either, or, ah? Either free market, or socialism. If you put it that way both conditions is BS, Jamie? Socialism is a range of economic and social systems characterised by social ownership and democratic control of the means of production, as well as the political theories, and movements associated with them. Social ownership may refer to forms of public, collective, or cooperative ownership, or to citizen ownership of equity. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. Social ownership is the common element shared by
  23. And, one could say that almost all Republicans are white supremascists. But, that wouldn't make it true. Almost all Christians could just be professes Christians, and actually be haters of Moslims.
  24. I think you are right, Ivy! But, P.com offers a greater community arrangement. People are not as likely to stick with their status quo conformity. They are faced with a truth that may not sound so good, at times, which makes them actually ponder some evidence, while they bigker about being annoyed with facts. P.commers are not in this world to live up to other people's expectations. And other people are not in this world to live up to our expectations. They do their thing, and we do ours. We are P.commers, and they are who they are. If by chanch we can get along it's GREAT. But, unti
