Rooast Standing Rib Roast with Ykrkshire Puddings, mashed taters, asparagus, salad and rolls for Tuesday night,,,, Wednesday Morning I check into Emory for Neurological Observation. I don't know if they will let me out by Sunday or not. There will be a traditional turkey based feast at daughter's new house on Christmas Day with Adobo Roasted Turkey, spiral ham and maybe a fried turkey if I get home. Not looking forward to the hospital again. I have died now 3 times whilst under Wellstar's care, but maybe we can get my tremens and jerks/mini-siezures under control. Its worth a t

I am not certain if Dr Woods is an Opthomologist or an Optometrist. If he is still practicing, Dr David Whte I believe is in the same office as Dr Crowley and he is very good but getting up there in years.

Daughter is doing an Adobo Turkey, a recipie I found years ago which we tried out for our SIL who is from Mexico. It is a marinade/brine using Guayaquill and Ancho chiles which is slathered all over the bird a day or more before baking. Really imparts a nice flavor. We used to fry another one, and to smoke one, but that was when son was living on this side of the country, and daughter had her group of international kids from the University of West Georgia. We will have a large Hispanic presence, but I believe I may do a ham to go with the Adobo Bird. Normally we also have a Christma

We froze 5 quart containers of boneless pulled pork with juuce; 1 qt and 2 pints of pork and dumplings with juice, and one big baggie with about 4-5 pounds of pork. We can do tacos, enchiladas, with dumplings again, sliders with pulled pork, etc. And a great deal for $0.99 a pound.

This could be 30+ hours a week for 2 guys. And as mentioned anove, since I am a disabled senior, doing "chore-type" work can count as community service. Any takers? -
We have done this variation for years, substitute a pork Boston but roast for a chicken hen. Brown the button on all sides. Add Mirapoix (carrots, onions, celery and parsley) garlic and stock to cover. Bring to a boil and put in 325F oven for 2 to 3 hours. Lift out meat carefully as it will be falling apart, and add more stock or water. Make dumpling dough from flour fat water and salt. Roll out dumplings 1/4" thick. Cut into 1" wide strip. Bring pot liquor back to a hard boil and drop in the dumplings. Enjoy!!! Non apetite!!!

We also have been informed that doing work for us will and can count as community service work as ordered by the courts as part of a sentancing agreement. This is a whole lot easier than picking up garbage along the highway, -
We have stuff to move from the basement to the room abve the garage. Mainly boxes and totes and empty bookshelves. Plus stuff from out mini warehouse in Hiram to this house east of Macland/Powder Springs street, Time permitting, helping with framing and wiring in the basement, Perfect for a high shcooler wanting to pick up some holiday money. $10 to $15 per hour depending on skill set..

Going to be putting in a new refridgerator. We use too much ice to not have a working ice maker at $2 a bag, Don/t care about color. Prefer side by side, but would settle for a freezer on the bottom.

The citizens of Colorado are crying over legalizing pot. Crying all the way to the bank. The tax mmoney is coming in faster than they can spend it. -
Where do you get it ?

OK, for years we get the drops from the traveling vet at K-Marrt, Last year those drops were worthless. This year the brand we got [Advantix or Frontline or?] from Meriel Labs kept us free of fleas in the house, but Daisy would have fleas and scratch, but we never saw fleas anywhere excpt on her. Daisy is up to date on her shots and has no other reason to go to the vet unless that is the only way we can get the GOOD drops that actually kill the fleas. I actually called the Meriel Lab 800 number on the box and asked about killing the fleas and they explained the drops would no

I have some furniture to re-arrange, moving from one room to another. Boxes to take to the storage shed out back, along with a bunch of 3' x 6' book shelves. And if you are much along the handy-man frame of mind and talents, I can put you to work for a week or more. Give me a call 770-910-0033

Well, we thought daughter/SIL were taking their refridgerator, but now we hear its staying. There is no hurry or emergency, but I will be looking for a replacement. So, I will have an extra one downstairs in the basement. It is an ugly kind of scarred up old Hot Point that has a busted bottom drawer that is as wide as the fridge, and is missing the lower shelves. It cools and freezes just fine. Fine for a Keg, or holding a deer, or holding something large. The drawer works but is cracked. Don't even know if the ice maker works. And I will be looking for a side by side with a work

And mayber more if you are productive. We are between the end of MaCland Road/Windy Hill and Powder Springs Street, and the Marietta Square. Depending on how good, and hard, workers you are, we could do some yard work too. Daughter, son in law, and granddaughter now have their own house a mile or 2 away. They moved most of their stuff yesterday. But we are now in a squeeze and need some assistances in spreading what we have out and about the homestead. That leaves us with furniture scattered about here in several different rooms that Melissa and I just cannot physically h
