There have been some topics on here about pet peeves, well this is a big one for me. The conjunction y'all comes from combining the words you and all, resulting in Y'ALL. Not ya'll or anything else! PLEASE spell it correctly (and never say you guys!).

They are the BEST. WONDERFUL people and very reasonable prices. I am friends with the McEntyre's and I always pay them more than they quote me because they dont charge enough for their delicious cakes and cheese straws! YUM.

Bigo! It HAS been done. WITHOUT zoning, WITHOUT a building permit! Right here in Paulding county. The best part is: The owner WORKS for Paulding County! But, when you call the zoning office, they tell you to call the Marshall's office, who tells you to call zoning again... Get my drift? Is it because the owner is a Paulding Goverment Employee???
When I worked in general contracting, the first thing we did was obtain and post a building permit, before any ground was broken or any equipment moved to the lot. Now, apparently this is no longer the case. I have even heard of a homeowner being required to tear down a newly completed addition to his home that was built without a permit. Then he had to properly obtain the permit, and rebuilt the addition. Tell me more!
I highly doubt it has anything to with that person being a county employee.

The new courthouse will not be ready in one year. It will be at least five years.
