  2. Hello?! This is the South! Someone needs to teach Mr. Caravan that we don't honk at people for stuff like that here! Horns are a last-resort measure for emergencies only!

    You go girl....kiss away!

  3. I completely disagree! There may be some who give all attorneys a bad name, just as a grumpy cashier at Walmart can, but I don't think you see what attornies do for their communities on a local level, the many hours spent on volunteer work, hours donated to legal aid, etc. And, most, do not have political aspirations! I, personally, think it's wrong to make such blanket statements about any group (ok, except car salemen! :D )

I totally agree. Many, many attorneys give a lot back to the community in the form of their time and service and donate a lot of money to local causes and charities.

  4. I graduated with Casey and am praying for his family. I called Eberhart's and they told me the funeral was Tuesday at 1:00. I spoke with his family and they said they don't need anything right now, but if they call me back with any needs, I will pass this info on.

  5. I saw a guy at about 12:00-12:15 today drive straight into a light pole in the Sam's parking lot. He had extensive damage to the front end of his nice, black truck and the two large lights in the pole broke and dropped a large amount of glass on the pavement. Watch out for glass in the parking lot if you go to Sam's!

(I don't know why he ran into the pole. He got out after it happened and seemed fine to me)

  6. "when you bought the new home I am quite sure the schools system and the tax rates played a part in your decision."

I have lived in Paulding County all my life. I get your point, but I am not one of the newcomers.

welcome to Paulding County the county with the fastest growing tax increases in the United States, and the most overcrowded school system in the world, hope you enjoy your stay with us maybe we can get you a job some day here where you will not have to commute several hours a day,Or maybe you are one of the few that has the high paying jobs that the county has to offer :D

Wow. I didn't realize Paulding County was so different from every other county in the metro area and in the country as a whole. Aren't we special?! (please) What an overstatement and exaggeration. And, yes, I am lucky enough to have one of those high paying jobs in the county. ;)

  7. This is the attitude of most people on p.com and most people who have moved to Paulding County in the past 10 or so years:

"BUILD A HOUSE FOR ME TO LIVE IN AND THEN IMMEDIATELY CLOSE THE FLOODGATES AND DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE MOVE IN TO THE COUNTY"

    also

"ALL THESE DANG NEW HOUSES ARE CAUSING ALL THESE DANG NEW PROBLEMS!" You SHOULD REALIZE - Wait a minute *GASP* I am the reason all these new houses were built....because I wanted to buy one and live in it!!!!!

HELLO?! How can you people project all these "problems" on someone else?

  8. Evecliff is a beautiful, small subdivision off of 61N on Narroway Church Road. I personally know the developer and he is a wonderful person and developer. The lots are huge and the homes are gorgeous.

Also, Southern Trace and Sunset Mountain, both in Rockmart, are great subdivisions with great builders. I highly recommend S & S Homes - the builder in those two subdivisions!

PM me if you want any more info on these subdivisions!!

  9. I voted but my husband went out to sea today till next month and he didn't vote.

I thought it had to be a picture ID? I have 2 picture ID's does that mean I can vote twice?

It does not have to be a picture ID. Great recipe for fraud, huh? Thanks to democrats :angry2:

  10. I voted last week.

You do have to show ID, there are just many, many acceptable forms including a utility bill. It does not have to be a state issued ID.

So, run get your elderly aunt's electric bill and get two times your say! :angry2:
