  1. You should have heard LLPT "talking to the animals". Her fawning all over the critters was the best part of the evening. I hope Frank liked the images. Valentine's Day will be here soon. Bring your "pets" in for a portrait gift for someone you love. A professional photographic portrait isn't expensive, it's priceless. Old photos restored here.

  7. Did you not see the other post from the day before. Check it here. That's OK. You were selling a house. I don't do this to make momma's cry, but if that were my son I would be doing the crying. In my business, the tears are of pride and happiness. Not hurt and pain. What a profession. We make loved ones so happy they just shed tears. Thanks for your comments. A special THANK YOU to Michael for his service.
  8. I'll move this off the "lost over the weekend, left on a shelf" status. Enjoy.

  11. Most people with a camera 'SHOOT THINGS AND PEOPLE". NOT I. I am happy to tell you I am photographing a family today whose soldier son is home for leave. I am honored to do this as I too have served in the military during the Christmas season, sometimes stationed far away and other times able to be with the family. I hope the family will allow me to share some of the portraits with you here on P.com. IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE DUTY MEMBER IN YOUR FAMILY, Please call for a special offer I am making through the end of the year. NO SITTING FEE, and all purchases at 1/2 off
  12. Prayers for your family and friends as you work through this and question why God allows things like this to happen. May He give you His peace during this Christmas season.
  13. This is the classical training coming through. It is timeless and that is why I love to do it. I enjoy your free form style which goes hand and hand with your commercial photography background. I studied the industrial-commercial area but ended up photographing people. 40 years in the darkroom and behind the camera. Now no darkroom but plenty of computer time. I am looking forward to using my new Marietta outdoor studio in a few months.
  14. I am so proud of my children and grandchildren. I'll have another "Portrait of the Day" tomorrow. See you then.
  15. These were all taken in my daughters bed room a few hours after the birth. Capturing people's best images like this is what I love to do. You know you want to do something like this of your family, please give me a call.
  16. I an trying to chose the portrait to use for Monday's Portrait of the Day post. It will be up late tonight.
  17. My profession uses such vile terms. Shooting people, blowing them up, framing them, and hanging them on the wall. I don't shoot anything. I capture the best image of what ever I have in front of the camera. Unhappy dog owner? Well, LPPT wasn't happy with the one which nipped me on the leg as I walked by. If you did not see the other thread started last night while we were photographing LPPT's furbabies, here are some of the latest canine portraits. A professional photographic portrait isn't expensive, it's priceless.
  18. How grand will your middle look next year at this time? --- Remember that will be another Thanksgiving dinner on top of what you collect during the rest of the year.
  19. I plan no children to eat your dog or the other way around. It;s 1:30 and I haven't left for Dallas yet. If anyone wants me, call 770-443-7355. I am not on line at my business so I will answer any posts after I get home from the Lights of Life with my grand children tonight. We are doing this now before my daughter has her baby --- sometime very soon.
  20. It is on my calendar for Wed. 4 PM. Do I have your OK to post your great family group from several years ago. I know everyone wants to see who is naughty and who is nice.
  21. The essence of Christmas, the joy of the birth of The Christ Child, leads us to give something as a present to our loved ones. What better way than a photograph of your family to share the love from, “Our home to yours”. Now, just in time for Christmas, you can have your own short time in the studio to capture your best image. I said, “short time in the studio”, so you can tell your family you can walk right in, be photographed, and those who have to go can leave. No waiting around for other groups in front of you. To make sure you do not have to wait, all work is planned thr
