mchandler replied to paulas2girls's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Myself and several coworkers are stuck at work in Smyrna and live in the Dallas area so any updates on roads between the two would be great. -
I rocked mine to sleep. till they got older. I have very found memories from that one on one time with my babies.

Yesterday alittle over 2 hours to get from ridge road to smyrna and about the same time to get home...This morning was soooo much worse then yesterday...I am hoping now that I-20 has been reopened that it will not be to bad this afternoon.

I just went down Ridge road it is open. The bridge on Bakers Bridge is toast so it will be closed for a while.

My thinking is. If their family actually cared and was willing to take them in then they would not be homeless. I understand that for some reason some people do chose to be homeless when they have other options, but I think the majority are out for various other reasons. My point is if a family member is willing to take them in after a city pays to ship them to them at no charge. why did that family member not make an effort before to help that person? and how long before that so called family member put them back out on the street?

I guess it depends on the quaility and pricing. If you can beat the ones we already have around you got my business!

We have lived in the area since 94 and have raised out children here. We are off of Corhan Store Rd and love it. It is quite and have some great neighbors. I do see were some of the people have said it went downhill about 2 years ago, But we are seeing an improvement in our area. New people coming in that are taking pride in there homes and community. It is very nice to see. Welcome to the neighborhood!
