  1. It would of been much better if you had shut your mouth, Or at least change your speech when your boy Sparky acknowledged that all the commissioners supported the air show. Of course some folks have to read what DA and LR force feed them, and are not capable of changing the speech. Have you seen the video??? You really made a azz of yourself, You and Screaming Bream Are a pair.
  2. Pubby Brett Smith has never been the go to guy to bring work to our GENERAL AVIATION AIRPORT, He does not want a GENERAL AVIATION AIRPORT he signed a contract wanting to change the AGENERAL AVIATION AIRPORT to a COMMERCIAL PASSENGER AIRPORT. Correct me if I am wrong, Since that contract was signed with Brett Smith in November 2012 the Airport authority and the iBA secretly began changing our airport taxi way, Terminal, Sewerage, water, fire protection and other items into a Commercial Passenger Airport and ceased to proceed with the vague plans they had for a General Aviation Airport, HELP
  3. Pubby why are you having a problem being truthful with Stradial???? You know for a fact last December in a meeting Special called by David Austin that the Lame duck commission of Tommie Graham and David Barnett voted for a IGA agreement that precludes the Commissioners from having any say so whatsoever in the running of the airport. It appears to me that David obtained this IGA agreement through coercion and unethically. GEESH ....If you are going to play a game in order to increase your viewership you could at least be honest about it
  4. Stradial There is no one that I know of other than the anti airport group that is responsible for trying to bringing General Aviation work to the airport. The rest are all working towards Commercial passenger service . Blake Swafford is the Airport director and Calvin Thompson is the chairman of the Paulding County Airport Authority. BLAKE SWAFFORD is probably your go to guy The general aviation portion of the facility was
  5. David Austin, Blake Swafford, Todd Pownall, Speak with those folks and include your Commissioner
  6. The anti folks lived for two years with a 4 to 1 vote against them, the newly elected commissioners were elected by a land slide that has never been seen in this county before .... In every race. They ran on a platform and are living up to campaign promises... What else can be expected? The sooner David Austin Realizes this the better off the county will be.
  7. Pubby you never give up You ran on the platform above and you got the worst defeat on anyone in the primary, When will you listen to what the peoples have to say? The security is what has handcuffed the citizens of Clayton and Fulton County, All those folks securing the facility are being paid by the tax payers of the county in which they work for, Just like the Marshall we are adding to our airport another tax liability to the airport we already are paying two and soon we will be adding others. What we need is a qualified person with experience on how to run and maintain a General Avia
  8. Pubby No need for the bull chit graphs lets go to the real world the areas surrounding Hartsfield Jackson airport and really get the feel of the noise and traffic congestion of a commercial airport. Heck use the you tubes that Commissioner Todd Pownall made last year. I do not know what your stake is in the airport, but you really need to quit trying to fool the folks here, they are well educated on the issues of a commercial airport
  9. What we really need is another Grand opening Had one in 2008 and 2010 And sort of one in 2013, We have a tax payer funded airshow coming up later this year maybe we can use this to again have another GRAND OPENING TYPE EVENT, David and Boyd just love those photo ops Heck get the entire gang Doris and Carolyn both could use a little exciting PR as we enter the election cycle
  10. You just made my point thanks, that is what happened in Riverdale due to the Major Airport, You see with six runways at HJIA it does get quite busy down there ,and a lot of noise and traffic congestion, gangs, rapes, murders all sorts of drugs etc Never said I did read the post again, And oh BTW it is none of your business what I pay for my homes, have a good evening good night
  11. I sincerely could care less what you think of me, I am comfortable here in my little hood have everything that I need, and plan on living the rest of my life right here. If you have ten million invested in your home then I am proud for you, I personally know several people in our little group that have property values that exceed $1,000,000 and they along with myself want the peace and quite of a area that is not around a commercial passenger airport. I moved from Clayton County to get away from that. You need to spend your time convincing people that a commercial airport is a good thin
  12. Hell Pubby a few weeks ago we were close to major deals with the film studio and resigned one to an additional stint and the next thing I know we are changing managers and putting it up for sale. At some point somebody has got to realize we have a management problem and make some changes. David promised that during his 2008 campaign but like most everything else he did not live up to that promise SMH!!!!!!!!
  13. If you are not accusing them can you explain where the Millions that was spent on the airport since 2008 was spent on. Off the top of my head David has acknowledged $55,000,000 has been spent. the Terminal and the corporate hanger is nowhere close to $21,000,000?
  14. Yea everybody else property values have gone up since we started to oppose commercial passengerwonder what her problem is in her hood????
  15. Yes we did have a business plan for the General Aviation Airport, It was discussed a little in the 2004 you tube when Calvin Thompson and Blake Swafford discussed in at the Chamber of Commerce event. Yes the County should have that plan because it had to be presented to the FAA. No we are not on track the Airport was about $10,000,000 over budget in 2008 and opened without a fuel farm to even fuel the incoming planes, The corporate hanger that was started some time the Last decade collapsed and is just now being erected, of course there was not enough water pressure so we had To buy mo
  16. Madam I could care less what you do, That was not me when you looked in the mirror, SORRY
  17. Call Carolyn Wright and ask her if this is her statement. "What kind of economic impact will this have on Paulding County? Current projections estimate that the airport will eventually create 2,000 to 3,000 new jobs and up to $350 million for the local economy. These estimates include jobs from commercial airline service and jobs from MRO developments. Propeller Airports is partnering with the airport to attract investment. The company and its parent organization, Propeller Investments, have extensive experience working with aerospace and aviation companies around the world."
  18. Try this if you can't read http://paulding.com/forum/topic/304843-official-release-on-airline-service-at-pauldings-silver-comet-field/ Can you listen????
  19. Actually I low balled the figure on purpose because I do not remember the exact figure but I believe it was either $325,000,000 or $342,000,000 and it was in the full page ad that the Chamber of Commerce put out and was posted at one time on the airport web site
  20. El Zorro I have no idea what kind of fuzzy math you are using I did an open records request this past summer and coupled with the items that that was not included in the request that is verifiable the cost of the airport is well North of $65,000,000 has been spent and you are correct there are 2 1/2 jobs at the airport not 2 that is a long ways off from the 2,500 promised and $300,000,000 economic impact
  21. 1- I will be more than happy to sit down with you and Tabatha and go over some figures with you and see how far we are off 2- the 60 acres of land has laid fallow for over a year prior to the first law suit being filed and nothing has been done with it yet, as you will recall this was the crux of the Agreement (According to you and some others) The passenger part was only a couple of flights a week, never did figure out how that was going to generate 2,500 jobs or over $300,000,000 in revenue. 3- The free legal service for the IGA agreement in my opinion is unethical to either provid
  22. Yep and not one single job or building on that 60 acres
  23. You seem to be in the know, What is your idea of limited commercial flights couple a day? HOW MANY JOBS WILL THAT GENERATE?
