  1. where at on Nebo?

Nebo at Carruth. The boom sounded much farther away towards Catfish den area.

This was the loudest boom I have ever heard around here. Even the fireworks in Hiram last July were not as loud.

Does the County post where and when blasting is be done? I would like a warning next time... so I can go watch!

  2. All I have to say about deviant sex lives is that a lot of folks have interesting sex lives. What most people consider normal is a smaller % than most people realize.

I am not a participant if other then the normal sex life, but you would be surprised how many prefer other than the expected normal sex.

What do you think all the porn stores sell and they are some serious serious money makers.

You want to become a millionaire very quickly.... Open a porn store.

(They are not for the odd ball people)

#1 rated money making item on the internet .... Porn

It is just a dirty little secret most people only talk bad about...

But in reality... have some interesting sex lives.

So before you call him a freak, look at your neighbor and friends at work, I would bet a few have some interesting sex lives. ;)

We might say that they had a little too much alcohol that night????

But back then---the sheriff and the city police just took you home or called your parents---cause everybody knew each other.

  5. This is for the Paulding County oldies.

How many remember when a group of guys ran into the Ford place leaving the old Dairy Queen and totalled out a bunch of cars back in the 70's??? I am always reminded of that when I pass there. And FYI---one of them wound up being my high school sweetheart after that!!!

Boy do I remember. Cruzin the Queen, parking at Dentons.....I treasure those memories. I met my highschool sweetheart in Dentons parking lot.

I remember the crash too. We rode through the Dallas Cemetery too, The old wood yard was our hang out.

  6. My husband served in Vietnam. post-5399-1244466475_thumb.jpg He is the skinny guy on the left. Pathfinder DET 52nd Combat Aviation Battalion Flying Dragons. Sgt.

post-5399-1244466564_thumb.jpg This was a story the military publication "The Hawk" did on his unit. He is the dark haired guy headed to the the chopper after two weeks in the jungle.

There is a story of an attack on his camp that is chilling, beyond my comprehension. Easter morning the Viet troops they were helping, fully armed ran for their lives, leaving the Americans to be slaughtered by rocket fire. He saw horrors that haunt him to this day.. He was "the old man" at 23 and a Sgt. The young new in country looked up to him because of his age. He feels guilty in away. He did all he could do. THe climbed the lookout tower in the pic to call in support. "A kid just arrived before the attack, just 18 running for cover few feet form away. I saw this kid he didn't have his boots broke in, I saw a rocket hit him solid to the stomach. Cut in two."he was so young." Every Easter is a somber hard day to get through for him. He told me there is a huge gap between the 18 yr olds and himself. "when I was 18 I was bullet proof and green, at 23 I knew what was in store and I was mature enough to know, and I was scared blind. He asked me, "do you know what the dying say, what they scream for

?" "No" I replyed. "They cry for their mothers. They just want their mothers." Those are the most profound words I have ever heard spoken. He says its like yesterday. He can smell it, hear it and see it.

How do you get over that? His is one of many stories of many brave vets.

A few monts ago a old Nam buddy called out of the blue and came to visit.

I learned more about my husband from him. Someday I hope my hubby will talk more and let it out if he chooses to. I thought this battle was as bad as it got until listening to his buddy tell me of the Montagnards.

His buddy lost his leg there. It does not slow him down at all. It was a wonderful thing to see them together. This guy is over six foot four, and I can tell you it is a heart wrenching thing to see them break down embrace and know that they are not alone. This is the only man my husband would trust with his life because they both lived through hell to tell the tell.

I love my VETERAN, he is my Hero.
