The Paulding County 4H Archery team will be hosting our Halloween Competition on October 19th at the Horse Ring at Paulding Meadows. Please see the attached flyer for details. The registration link will take you to a Google doc. Registration will be open until Tuesday, October 15th The shoot is open to 4th grade to adults, compound and recurve. We invite all our local bow hunter and archery enthusiasts to come join us. This will probably be the only archery competition of this type held in our area this year. Good evening all, I coach a youth sports team here in Paulding. We are in need of an indoor place for the kids to practice on Sunday afternoons. Something along the lines of an unused warehouse, barn or even a chicken house (preferably minus the chickens and their odiferous leavings). Due to the distances involved and the number on the team, we would need something fairly large - 40x80 or more. We have the necessary equipment for our needs, plus the safety equipment that would prevent damage to the building. I know this is a long shot. People build buildings for a purpose and

If you have a child, 5th through 12th grade, that would be interested in participating with the Paulding County 4H Archery Team, we will be holding an information meeting tonight at 630pm at North View Baptist Church on Old Cartersville Rd. The meeting will cover costs, participation requirements and equipment requirements as well as provide time for parents (and kids) to ask questions from the coach and other archers on the team.

The Paulding County 4H Archery Team is holding a Campfire Breakfast fundraiser at Longhorns Steakhouse in Hiram this Saturday from 830am - 10am. For $6.00 you get eggs, 2 pancakes, meat and a drink. ​The 4H Archery Team currently has 35 members ranging from 4th grade to High School seniors. Come out, have some breakfast, and help our team grow and represent Paulding County. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

The Paulding County 4H Archery team went yesterday to shoot the Godfrey Memorial Archery Tournament in Maysville, GA. The tournament consists of a 20 target 3D course and a 36 arrow FITA target round. Our 5th and 6th grade Cloverleaf shooters shot 20 meters for recurve and 25 meters for compound bows in the target round, Juniors had to shoot 20, 30 and 40 meters and the Seniors 30, 40 and 50 meters. (50 meters is 164 feet, some of these high schoolers can hit regularly in the dime size center ring at that distance). In total we walked away with a dozen medals, including several from the

Good evening neighbors, Come out Wednesday, December 2nd to Buffalo Wild Wings in Hiram. BWW is hosting a spirit night (all day actually) to help support the Paulding 4H Archery team. All you have to do is let your server know you are there for the archery team and Buffalo Wild Wings will donate a portion or your check to our team.

Paulding County 4H is a great way to help out a lot of kids. Along with the clubs you see at the schools, there are various other clubs and teams that need support. You can drop your tax deductible donation off at the County Extension office by the old hospital, mail it in or call the office to make a credit card donation. 4H is a 501©3 charity so all donations are tax deductible

Hi again and thanks to everyone who has came by the 4H Archery Team pumpkin patch to get their pumpkins. If you haven't yet, come on by, we have a great selection of interesting pumpkins. We are also have 2 raffles going on. Tickets are $2.00 each A birthday party from Sparkles in Hiram. The drawing for this will be Sunday the 25th at 5pm. On Halloween, at 4pm, we will be drawing for a $100.00 gift card to Gables Sporting Goods in Douglasville. We will also be drawing for a number of other prizes during that time. The other prizes include: $50.00 to Prestige Jewelers or $25.
