    ERM, I am sorry but Cobb is one of the fore runners in out of district sports students. I know for a fact that ay one time Marietta and Mc Eachern both were transporting students because they were good players. I assume that it goes on in other winning counties. Yes I know what happens when you ASS U ME.

    It appears that DVP has an issue BUT don't try to stick it in every post you can. On the OP, this has been going on for years in all the schools. I can remember years ago when Machearn was sending taxis to pick up boys and paying for a Powder Springs PO box.

    Having been in the over 35 years, I have saw Dallas under a bunch of mayors make bad mistakes. Any growth in the city will be based around the 61/278 area. The city needs to get a smart city planner, apply for some federal grants and try to revive the downtown area. It is a lovely area if it would have something to draw people to.

    I would check with the water authority because they may have trash in your pressure valve. You can check by going to a outside faucet in front of the pressure valve and flushing your house line.

    I would avoid it all day tomorrow. If they open the road tonight they may have to repave,and stripe tomorrow.

    It looks as if the lowering of the Hiram end is complete. They are stripping and closing Bill Carruth down to 1 lane each way. Hiram Sudie west of Carruth parkway is closed back near Bradleys towing and they are going to lower Bill Carruth and Hiram Sudie west at the same time. Traffic is a nightmare in that area.

    It is closed and I was thru there Tuesday and they had a line of empty dump trucks hauling dirt as fast as 2 loaders could load them. I was wondering how they are going to cut down Bill Carruth Parkway.

    Grand son is in bed low fever, nausea, and upset tummy.

    I was traveling yesterday thru a pine forest in south Georgia and the yellow haze looked like in was a woods fire. It was terrible.

    In an effort to save money, the postal service has reduced services at a number of post offices. The Hiram post office only offers counter service certain days of the week and not all day. All the Hiram mail now goes to Dallas for sorting and route delivery. The PO box mail comes from Dallas to Hiram and then put in the boxes.

    With the USPS suspending the route carriers from Hiram and laying a few of them off everything is messed up. Yes they moved the best ones to the Dallas office but gave all of them larger routes.

    In the Paulding scheme of things, if the coroner deems that it needs a ME than either the Cobb ME or the GBI ME will do the work.

    In 3 states to our west the coroners are as varied as grocery store owner , dairy queen owner and a car dealer.

    I went to the community meeting that the DOT held about a year ago. They had a concept drawing showing the round about.

    ChocoMare are you talking about Hiram Sudie or Hwy.61 ? The intersection on 61 and Nebo won't have lights because it is supposed to be a ROUNDABOUT

    We do something similar but use aluminum foil and put on the grill. It gets a slight smoky taste.

    I believe that Frank retired when they closed the Hiram store. We now use West Metro now that they are back open. We have been to Patak's meat for corned beef and pastrami.
